I'm sayin Anny then Yoda of course. Everyone is going to like Luke which is fine by me but I have been into SW for sometime which is also collecting and I see things a bit different cause I'm tired of the same "Oh luke is the hero" etc,etc.

I picked Luke. Even though he was pretty whiney in the first movie & Han had all the "cool" lines, whenever I think of Luke, I think of him flipping through the air while fighting on Jabba's barge & at the Emperor's place. Those scenes still give me that"oh cool" feeling I had as a little kid.
Part of me wanted to pick Wicket since I'm one of those rare people who never grew out of their childhood love of the Ewoks.

I am a hardcore and serious Star Wars fan, and though I am partial to the Sith this is a hero thread...soooo; I gotta go with Luke,from the movies, all the way through to the comics and novels of the expanded universe.

I have to say I've really taken a liking to Asoka (sp?) from Clone Wars. If Anakin werent portrayed so badly in the live action movies and was more like he was in The Clone Wars show (likable, kind, heroic), I would definitely say him instead.

Han Solo AND Chewbacca. Both are cool to me.
Obi Wan defeats Vader twice. That's pretty cool. Strongest character. My favorite.
Luke is the apperant hero. And a good one too. Comes from nothing, saves the day, more or less...
R2-D2 is the real hero. Watch the movies again with this in mind.
