Besides King Hiss, who's your favorite Snake Man and why??

I left out King Hiss from this poll because I think he would run away with a victory. For obvious reasons. But looking at the Snakemen in the 200x series and figures, there are some awesome characters.

    Who's your favorite, and why?

    Snake Face

    Kobra Kahn

    Sssqueeze

    General Rattlor

    Tung Lashor

Snake Face. I always liked the old figure, and the 200X designs was amazing. I also loved how he seemed to serve as King Hsss' bodyguard in the cartoon and acted as his "silent asskicker" most of the time. And he can turn folks into stone!

Have to agree with you. Snake Face is pretty awesome. Reminds me of a male Medusa. Nothing sucks about that. The staction is extremely impressive, and I love the shield.

Gotta go with Rattlor for 200x. A strong character in the show, and not green, so he stands out a little more design wise.

    Snake Face!
I always enjoyed the classic figure, and out of all the Snakemen I think he was the most interesting (and most underused Snake Man) in the 2002 relaunch. Also, the NECA staction was probably THE best staction to come out of that line. I am highly anticipating his re-appearance in MOTUC, moreso than any of the other Snakemen.
Tung Lashor is my runner-up, but only the classic version. His classic toy was also a favorite, but I really disliked the redesign for the 2002 series. I liked the idea of his tongue paralyzing his prey, rather than him using it the way Toad in X-Men uses his tongue.

All in all, I actually really don't care for the Snakemen at all. Maybe it was because they were underdeveloped in the classic toyline and just were sort of a "blah" group of villains (especially next to Skeletor & Hordak's respective gangs) and therefore there's no real nostalgic attachment to them. Maybe it's because in MYP's show, they became too heavy of a focus and kinda ruined the show for me (overdeveloped or underdeveloped, they can't win me over... LOL!). Also when the 2002 toyline that was so promising prematurely morphed into the MOTU Vs The Snakemen toyline, introducing tons of fugly variants and not enough actual SNAKEMEN... maybe that left a sour taste in my mouth too. Maybe I just hate snakes. So yeah, anyways... out of the lot of them, Snake Face and Tung Lashor are my faves.

Yes! Me too. You're right, THE best staction.

LOL... at least you're honest. The line did kinda become a slither fest, didn't it. Pitty the cartoon had to end. Just when we were getting into Hordak and the Horde. Still, I give a lot of respect to the Snake Men. Snakes make great evil characters.

    From 200X- Rattlor.

He seemed like a competent head-hench. Even seemed like a match for Zodak until he got overconfident and laid out.

My favorite Snakeman is usually Tung Lashor. I would've voted for him, but I didn't like what they did to him in 200X. He's a tree frog, not a gimongous horny tree toad.

Snake Face at #1, followed by Kobra Khan. SF has one of the more gross action features (snakes popping out of his eye sockets), which makes him awesome. Khan is more underhanded and sneaky than any of his ancestors, which I always felt made him one of the more dangerous Snake Men.

King Hiss is not my favourite though, in fact i'd place him in third place after those two.

I'll say Snake Face is my #1 favorite. I loved studying Greek Mythology when I was a kid and the fact that he has the same powers as a gorgon* just makes him all that much cooler. He doesn't even have to fight to beat his enemies as long as they're looking directly at him!

I liked Rattlor's voice in the Filmation cartoon, but he didn't get a lot of air time. The toy was fun, though! And when I'd get miffed at my friends when playing with my MOTU figures, I'd roll Tung Lashor's tung out at them.

They should have made some female Snake[women?] and made one of them a main character so that every camp had a main female (Good guys: Teela or Sorceress; Skeletor: Evil-Lyn; Hordak: Shadow Weaver or Catra).

*For those who don't know what that means, a "gorgon" is the type of creature Medusa and her sisters were.

    Absolute fav is Sssqueez.

The colours & design look exactly what I would imagine a Snake Man to be like & he reminds me alot of my fav little Battle Beast snake figure.

I hope we get a MOTUC but modelled on the staction design.

Its a shame he was hardly seen though in cartoon.

200X Action Figure-Snake Face Staction Loved the tongue sticking out along w/ extra snakes. The overall detail w/ SF & his shield are top shelf.

200X Cartoon-Tung Lashor-Loved the colors. Wish he could of been made into a tougher dude though.

As a kid I probably enjoyed Rattlor the most as an action figure. That pop out neck was awesome! All the good guys got bit a few times by his sudden strike!!!!!!!

Voted for Snake Face. Love mythology. One of my favorite stactions. Never had the vintage toy. Close second is Rattlor. Only Snake Men we had as kids were King Hiss & Rattlor (me) and Kobra Khan & Tung Lashor (brother). Always wanted Snake Face and Sssqueeze.
Top MOTUC wants: Sagitar, Great Black Wizard, Skeletor's Skeleton Warriors, Odiphus, Illumina w/Sleetah, Lady Slither, Tuvar & Baddrah 2-pack, "new" characters as designed by Axor (Axel)

Tung Lashor. I loved the old figure, I missed the cool frog/salamandar type hand gloves from the vintage. But his colour is great. I love how it pops. Plus the tongue thing is awesome.

This is how I saw it and that's why I voted for General. Kobra Khan had the plan, he enticed Evil-Lyn to assist but the coming of the Snake Men became a serious threat, IMHO, when General Rattlor was freed.

Totally agree. The General Rattlor figure is good too, but that Snake Face staction did it for me. And turning people to stone doesn't hurt either.

I absolutely love the 200x Rattlor! Looks amazing, but the others are just as good. I think the only one that doesn't have to much appeal for me is Tung Lashor.

General Rattlor is just a cool toy. It looks cool, a great action-feature with the quick strike-head (although mine broke) and the tail completes the look. The hands and huge Clay Matthews arms just add to the awesome size of this figure.

By the way: It's Kobra Khan, with a K, not Cobra Khan.... And there is an "e" at the end of Sssqueeze. Yes, I am Spellor, Heroic Master of Spelling!
