We have Vikor already & Demo-man is on the way, so how about some support for the Red Beast?
I think it would be awesome if he could be made using the Gy-gor/Shadow Beast buck (just slightly altered)...does anyone else agree he should be in the large beast scale?
Also, what faction should Red Beast be in since to everyone's surprise, Gy-gor turned out to be an evil warrior?

I think he should be one of the Fighting Foe Men in scale with the regular size figures although Gygor size would be cool as well.

It would be cool to get this figure in MOTUC. However, there are tons of much better figures to release first, IMO (examples : Scorpia, Batros, Frosta, Mosquitor, Tung Lashor, Two Bad, Spikor, Rattlor, Rio Blast, Rokkon and Stonedar, Flogg...).
Count me in. He'll look great next standing to Demo Man, fighting against Vikor.
Hope Red Beast is made at the Gygor size, but I'd rather have him regular size than not at all.

he's a kind of mix between beast man and grizzlor: maybe 4h could give him the
same fur of grizzlor and a larger buck (à la leech) to make him more unique.
He looks pretty cool so I'm game for him.

I keep getting this confused with the red Gygor who had a harness for He-Man to ride upon. I hope they realize they can make that and reuse the ape mold AND give the heroic warriors an ape to sort of balance out both Gygor and the Shadow Beast.
I'd love to see Red Beast! And I wouldn't mind if a little influence from Alcala Beast Man made it into the design.
As to Gygor, someone on Mattycollector pointed something out that TG talked about. There's a decided gray area if you read the bios closely. Evil-Lyn released Gygor, but things didn't really go as planned. Gygor isn't working for Skeletor at all. So who knows? Maybe he joined The Masters after all.
Whether Gygor or whether Alcala Beast-Man, this is not the RED BEASTAll good ideas but as Demo-Man, the RED BEAST should have the exact appearance and identity than on the artwork.

On reflection, I'd have to agree.
I REALLY like the look of this guy. There is an obvious reuse of Gygor's body with this one...but I almost hope for a new sculpt with this guy. Would work just fine if there were other characters with which the sculpt could be used. Dunno who...but heck, there were a lot of crazy filmation beasts, so who knows? Could work for one of them.
Anyway, I'd be happy with a Gygor-sized beast, or a sized down version in scale with Leech or something. Heck, they might even be able to use the Grizzlor buck and hair-sock for this! Just mold a new face and have some new ears sticking out of the top, and then new feet and hands. Though...I think i'd miss the girth of the drawing in the first post; he's pretty massive looking!

Obvious reuse...really??? I have to disagree with those that think he should have the Gygor buck, and I agree with you that Red Beast should get a new sculpt if he is going to be an oversized figure. Red Beast is not an ape, he is more like a bear. That is what is obvious.
Make a bear-like sculpt and reuse it to make an Ice Hacker.
While I think the Gygor buck could work for an Ice Hacker, I think Red Beast needs his own bear-sculpt. The closer they can get the body to the artwork with nods to the Big Jim bear look the better!
While the Alcala red beastman would rock, it shouldn't be confused with RB. (I do want red Beastmen though-army builders for Gygor!)

Fair enough. I guess I'm always trying to think of ways to reuse things, but if they're gona make a brand new buck, then this is the one to do it with! It's not like they couldn't use the bear body with a bunch of other stuff here and there, and I do agree that it would look MUCH better.

After seeing him mentioned again in TG's recent blog, are you guys ready to complete the triple threat? Vikor, Demo-man, and Red Beast would look GREAT together on my shelf. Think we will see Red Beast this year?

Since Red Beast is a concept of Beast-Man, He should have several new accessories tooled for him. Vikor and Demo-Man had alot of new tooled parts, so they should do it with Red Beast. I would like to see...
-Beast-Man's body be reused.
-New Head
-New armor
-New Loin piece
-New claw weapons
Athough Red Beast looks like a bear and is quite furry, I'd be happy with the Beast-Man body for this figure. I don't think he should be the size of Gygor or the Shadowbeast.
