Im Daniel... now a.k.a Light Hope!!
I Become a He-Man Fan on 1984 when i was a little kid and the show was recently playing on TV, i remember we sat in front of a huge 20" tv screen (It was huge then) and watch the whole show, I Always love Orko i felt related to him! On the figures my first MOTU toy was Man-E-Faces that was my first and the most beloved ( so miss him :-( )
Ever since the cancelation of the show (here in venezuela around 87) i kept playing with my figures until 92-93 when my aunt asked me to donate all my toys to the needed children! (DAMMM AUNT!!) and I Did! i kept my Orko, and Battle Ram.
Then around 1994 i found on a Blockbuster some episodes of the series on VHS (to some that does't remember, VHS was a source of video on the cave age, where you place a magnetic tape on a machine and showed about 1 or 2 hours of video) and i rent them and eventually copy them so i could have them!
I was part of the first people in the country getting internet, and cable tv, and my english got better, eventually i got into he-man on a few fan sites and i miss my toys! (I already had Secret of the Sword and 4 He-Man/She-Ra Videos)
On 99/2000 I found on the Venezuelan eBay partner (mercadolibre) a modulok MIB from this seller... and i bought it! When i went to pick it up i found other figures i actually had ( i had 17 when i was a child) and i thought that ill get the ones i had!
A few years (and some lots of cash) later i got to realize that my christmas list from 84/ 85 /86 and 87 finally became true!!! I got the whole collection from Masters of the Universe!!
Then found He-Man.org... and started reading! found James Eatock (and we become friends)! Found lots of information related to the toys, the cartoon and all Masters Reated!
On Septemeber 2011 decided to go to PowerCon! A long and kinda expensive trip for me... but Who cares!!
I HAD A BLAST!!
Met Emiliano an Val.. and love them both!! Now I'm on the forums and hope to do something nice here...
So, this is mostly my MOTU life since i was a kid, but i have to close it saying what MOTU mean for me.
Dreams always come true even after 20 years later!!
