Let's give it up for Teela's Unicorn/Horse (nicknamed "Charger" on the forums), who was prominently featured in the early minicomics and other stories.
This one's long overdue--going on 30 years now without him in figure form. They have a horse buck now, which looks very well made. They could give him a nice paintjob, a horn (removable?), and maybe a mane that doesn't look like a mohawk. And plug up the holes in Swift Wind's side.

No one ever talks about Charger, but he would be an easy addition to collections.
With all the POP horses, some (including myself) surmise that they could be released with a "small" character included, and/or weaponry/armor/accessories specific to the owner of the horse. Charger is distinctive, but what else could he come with, to entice sales?

Yeah, I thought about that too. I'm a bit stumped as to what they could realistically pack in for an incentive, but what you said is a good idea. Different coloured Teela weapons, maybe? (toy accurate staff, minicomic coloured shield).
Or maybe a "Spirit of the Castle" ghost, like they do with Ghostbusters.
At the same time I'd be happy with just the horse and saddle repainted. He would come with less than Swiftwind, but Shadow Beast came with less than Gygor. But something extra is always good for sales.
"Charger" could come with a newly sculpted Teela head from that Alcala drawing the third picture down in the first post! Also the spear, sword, and shield she is seen with in the other photos- all accessories that look quite different enough from the MOTUC Teela figure's accessories to warrant a release, I'd say.
I am hoping that this unicorn sees a release some day soon. If Beast Man is getting a Griffyn (sp?) to ride, then it's only fair Teela should get her own unique beast!

I would love to get her horse/unicorn! The Spirit of Grayskull pack-in would be sweet! I've always said that Mattel should redo the Spirit version of KG with a swappable skull head which could also plug onto a Doomseeker stand via an adapter.
In any event, Teela needs her horsey!!!

Just noticed the "snow-white unicorn" reference! That might just end up as a fan vote. I think the colour in the illustration would be best.

I would love to get Teela's horse but with all this Filmation POP stuff we're getting, and the fact that all the POP characters have a horse, I bet our odds are slim.

Charger isn't ugly, he's golden brown and I bet the paint-job would be awesome.
Swift Wind isn't ugly. Maybe too garish or rainbow-like for some of our tastes, but objectively it's a beautiful-looking toy. Some have said the most detailed horse in that scale they've ever seen.

Now we have the FANTASTIC Swiftwind I say bring on charger! I have always loved Teela's golden Unicorn. It's nice to think that Teela can get some second hand use out of something that was sculpted for She-Ra. Charger would be a great addition to the line without stealing any of Swiftwinds rainbow thunder!

It could be a neat "Traveling Convention" item that could be paired with the Brunette Teela from "The Secret Liquid of Life" mini-comic. And they could make "Charger" with a golden sheen, kinda like a toned down Bubble Power She-Ra's cape. That would make him very unique when compared to the other horses that could possibly get made in the line.

The difficulty will be the horn, I guess. It will have to be removable, since her steed isn't always picted as a unicorn. I, for one, would most definitely display "Charger" as a unicorn. Some other fans would probably prefer the normal horse version.
Incentives would have to be there, too. Toy accurate staff, mini comic coloured shield are good ideas. I am all for a Spirit of the Castle ghost!! If that would happen, I'd probably go nuts. Removable sadle, perhaps? And, for me personally, Teel-La's javelin (as you can see in the first mini comic).

I think that Teela's unicorn is likely already planned.
The sculpt of Swiftwind's saddle looks EXACTLY like Charger's saddle, so that is already done.
They can give him/her the horn by tooling the headdress that Spirit and Filmation Arrow wear and adding the horn to that.
They need to retool the horse body to fill in the shoulders for Spirit, so this would help further justify the cost.

Originally, I wasn't terribly interested in CHARGER, because I didn't know if one Master riding a unicorn would really fit in, but now that we have such an awesome looking SWIFT WIND, and possibly other POP horses coming, as well as STRIDOR and NIGHT STALKER, I thought about how cool it would be to have a mounted team on my shelf.
HE-MAN on BATTLE CAT, TEELA on CHARGER, and DUNCAN or maybe FISTO on STRIDOR vs. SKELETOR on PANTHOR, BEAST MAN on his GRIFFIN, and JITSU on NIGHT STALKER.

Will the Teela figure's leotard/gold leaf interfere with her ability to sit on Charger's saddle or would they need to make a new version of her as they did with She-Ra? I haven't tried to put her on Swift Wind to see if there could be a problem there. At least it might be another opportunity to make the blond with tiara version, although she's not wearing a tiara in most of the pictures with her and Charger.
