I'm new to the forums and was curious if there were many members SoCal?

On behalf of He-Man.org's admin, staff, and moderators, allow me to extend an official Hello and welcome to He-Man.org, junkebunk! We're very glad to have you join our site hope you have a fun time discussing Masters of the Universe and Princess of Power here.

Please be sure to read over the rules for posting here when you have an opportunity. Most of them are pretty easy to follow.

How far are you from San Diego? I remember there were a lot of fans from the area when I was at the comic con last.

We hope you really enjoy your time here! Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm about an hour and a half north of San Diego, actually. I haven't been to a ComiCon in years! Isn't that the only way to get a Matty subscription so I can get figures like Shadow Weaver?

    Hello Junkebunk:
How are you? Welcome to the He-Man.org forums. I'm from San Diego. I have been attending San Diego Comic-Con for years. The one thing I regret was missing the He-Man.org mixer where the He-Man & She-Ra fans got together. Were you able to attend the 1st Annual Power-Con, last September 2011, in Los Angeles? I had a BLAST!! Attending Power-Con felt like a family reunion. Everyone was very nice. I am looking forward to attending Power-Con this September.

Hey Manny! Thanks for the welcome! I unfortunately was not able to make any of those events. I'm hoping to attend the Power-Con in September, though I'll consider it a birthday present to myself, ha!

Attending Power-Con would be the ultimate birthday present for yourself. You should go for it! I was able to attend all the panels I stood in line fore, visited with the vendors there, attended a screening of "The Wizard of Stone Mountain," attended costume contest, attended the auction and participated in a trivia challenge for the final panel of the day. I highly recommend it!
