    Hello from Washington

I got nostalgic for He-man after playing the new game app on my ipad. I have fond memories of getting a He-man and Battlecat toy 1981 before it was a cartoon… and a few years later seeing the product line grow into a cartoon and comic was fantastic as a young kid in the 80’s. I'm having fun watching a few of the old episodes… even tho they are campy, they are colorful and they call back to a different era of 25-cent arcade games and inexpensive comic books. Up until recently I worked with troubled and at-risk youth and I felt bad they didn’t get to grow up in a simpler time where some “good and evil” battles were neatly settled in 30-min animated stories.
those are my reflections so far... enjoying the site and cheers!
