What tv episodes made you cry?

Has there ever been an episode of a tv show that made you cry? Here's some shows that made me cry:

Simpsons: The episode where Bleeding Gums died. Call me weird, but I bawled when Lisa found out he died, like I could feel her pain. I'll probably be like Lisa when Tim Burton dies because he inspired me too much in my life.

Adventure Time: "I Remember You". Seriously, watch that episode.

i remember the wonder years ep where the math teacher dies being quite sad...

The final episode of M*A*S*H

I cannot watch the Doctor Who episode "Vincent and the Doctor" without shedding a few tears.

The entire CBS Spider-Man Television Series...out of sheer horridness.

The finale of Xena.

Two episodes of Pokemon: "Bye Bye Butterfree" & "Go West Young Meowth"

Same here. The scene at the end where the Doctor brings Vincent to the future, was so moving.

The finale of the 90s X-Men cartoon, it was so touching and sad. What a powerful end to one of the best animated series.

The one I always remember is the last episode of DS9.

The episode where Buffy's Mum had died and they had her funeral.

ER – “On the Beach”
Smallville – “Reckoning”
Battlestar Galactica – “Daybreak” (series finale)
24 - too many to count. A lot of tragic deaths on that show.

This one and the final of Quantum Leap always make me a little misty eyed.

avatar: the last airbender has a few tearjerker episodes in book 2. the end of "the library" and the tale of iroh in "tales of ba sing se" make me cry without fail. "appa's lost days" and "the guru" get me a little misty-eyed as well.

The series finale of "Frasier". I loved that show.

Fox's X-Men was one of the best animated series ever. I think it was the only cartoon that I actually enjoyed the obligatory Christmas episode.


Buffy The Vampire Slayer, the episode when Buffy killed Angel, but it was more the beautiful song "Full of Grace" by Sarah Mclachlan that paired so well with Buffy's sadness that made me cry a little. I rewatched it years later and it didn't get to me in the least. I chuckled a little, however I still love this song.

Roswell The Christmas episode where Max heals the sick kids in the hospital, nearly killing himself in the process. Jason Behr was gorgeous, and to see his beautiful face, pained and teary eyed made me sad. However the scene was paired with a great song, "Calling All Angels" by Jane Siberry. Roswell was a great sci-fi series, and I recommend it to anyone who may have liked Buffy, Angel, Charmed or any story driven series around at the time and may have skipped it.

I might add more later, but I think that's about it.

Two episodes of Futurama. The one with Fry's dog of course, and the four-leaf clover episode with Fry's brother.

The DS9 episodes "The Visitor", "Duet" and the final 10 minutes of the final episode "What You Leave Behind"

Quite a few Quantum Leaps, but not because they were 'sad', because they were very life-affirming. Especially good were the episodes that Sam stood against bigots in the 1950's...

A LOT of House episodes... Especially a season 1 story when Foreman pretends to be a woman's lost husband in the last few moments of her life so she can die 'content' (for want of a better word), when Wilson says goodbye to Amber & switches off her life-support in season 4 and the 2-part season 6 opener with House in the sanitarium... House actually finds kindred spirits in the 'broken' patients there... (plus dozens of other episodes)

Me too, especially the final episode at the end when Chloie has Jack on the drone video and she realizes she will never see him again.

Also, episode one of 200x cartoon..."How will I know this hero?" Randor is at a loss and the Eldors won't help him. I'm such a baby.

..and (not sure how I forgot this one) a season 2 episode of Fringe entitled "White Tulip" - When Walter Bishop receives his 'forgiveness from god'... wow, that was some quality television.
