First i want all characters from the vintage Minicomics! With them you can evolve the line further and use them for New directions. But i honestly don't think its already Time to move the line further.

They did that (or attempted to).

The first of those was She-Ra. The second was to be He-Ro and the Powers of Grayskull.

I don't really like the designs of the characters coming out of the comics at all. I am hoping that Scott doesn't create or design anymore characters. TMS was enough.
2012 Create a character Runners up Mini-Sub please!!! I needs Bubblor and Major Header.

    Wait.

I don't see anyone behind Mosquitor, except "The Great Black Wizard" that also appears in the later page-spread.

There is some character in front of Gygor, sort of, so is that Golden Rod then?

This Snow Thief is still unaccounted for....

Now it gets confusing and i think Matty is making those names up a long the way.

Forgetting he already named one, uses a typo as the name for another character who never even showed up...

I really like your dedication facet but i get the feeling the answers to your questions are creating more confusion than giving real answers.

I honestly thought the guy from the funeral with the red stripe going down his spine and the character who is now called Snarrrlllllllllll(wait how many "L" where there?? that name sounds like a joke anyway) are the same person and he changed sides or has been a spy from the beginning on.

And true when did he change from Red Shadow to red Stripe???

You see at least i´m getting confused...

I don't think Snarlll and Red Shadow (Red Stripe doesn't exist I think) are the same character....may be they are two beast men but one have a red stripe and the other one don't.

I might eventually suggest to take in consideration also the snakeman that have the preternia disguise he man outfit on the 1st minicomic

The red stripe/red shadow is totally my fault, i just screwed up the names, sorry for confusing everyone even more. In regards to the Snarlllll question, i made the question a direct as possible
    http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...to-WTFWTK-2-94!
And Snarllll and Red Shadow are from different time periods as far as i know, Red Shadow is Pretenia and Snarlll from the 2nd ultimate battleground. Honestly they have to show more of these characters in some differnet media in order to flesh out some character development or just stop making characters that are supposed to be important standout warriors but get one scene in one comic, some with their backs turned, and arent even named, the names just show up somewhere on the boards to some random question.

Yeah you see in both accounts of where TG is saying these characters are the great black wizard seems to be in that spot, both guys are uncolored (leading me to believe they are unimportant). TG needs to be more specific in his character locating skills as it is causing alot of confusion. Im thinking that that Roboto looking guy is Snowtheif , even though he is not where TG is saying he is. At least we know have a clarification of who Fang-or is and have another snakeman to add to the ranks.

Snarlll looks a lot like a concept for a character called Snowman from the Power and Honor book, so until this other name came up I had assumed he was Snow Thief. I'm almost intrigued by how many Beast Men guys are on display in the mini comics. Beast Lord, Snarlll, Red Beast and all the beast men with him on his 2 page spread, plus maybe Red Shadow as well.

Love this thread. I am so into new characters to expand the storylines.

Snarrlll looks a lot like the white snow fella in the Power and Honor Foundation book.

Just Learned from a recent post on the mattycollector site that Fang-or is weaponsmith of the Snakemen.

Q: Who provides the fighting Snakemen army with weapons and armor if not civilian Snakemen?

A: Fang-Or is the Weaponer of the SnakeMen. He runs their forge and designs their weapons.

What character designs? None of these have any development whatsoever. They don't even have full bodies. Do you know what Red Shadow or Bandwidth look like from the front? No? Neither does Mattel. What can Gladiator do? Not sure? Mattel doesn't know either. Those characters in the 3rd mini-comic are a joke. Some of them are just weak scribbles less than a 1/4 of an inch big. Someone asks Scott who they are and he makes up a name on the spot. A perfect example is Snnarrl/Snow Thief...the same character named twice. There was absolutely no thought or planning for any of these characters. I have asked a couple times to know more about them and see the character designs, but there are none. And these names are horrible. Fang-Or? We already have Fang Man. On top of that, wasn't the whole plot behind King Hsss turning Man-At-Arms into a Snake Man so that HE could build the Snake Men their weapons and stuff? So, if they already have a weaponsmith with Fang-Or, why bother with Man-At-Arms??? See, Scott is making this up as he gets asked. As an artist and creator, I find the whole thing extremely insulting.

If the goal was to expand the line with new characters, then they sure didn't take the time to actually go through a proper creative process. No development at all. I guarantee you more time and effort was put into every character entry for the Create-A-Character contest than anything we've barely seen in these horrible mini-comics. AND, they all had full bodies!

The lack of effort is obvious. I really wish he'd stop making things up as he goes along and actually had people with creative backgrounds and talent develop new characters.

I disagree. I think mattel wanted to introduce those charcaters one way or another, or at least some of them, but after the fan overall response over the 30th anniversary afs they simply setted aside this idea.

I don't think Mattel cared to introduce anything MOTU related. Scott is the Catalyst with project MOTUC. the comic designs for some of those new characters do not look inspiring at all.
