Is it just me or does the Great Black Wizard seem just a little too close to the Chaos Warlock from "Hero Quest"?

The great Black wizard is amazing. I love that he has the Shaping Staff and Bone Sword from Filmation. I Like Bandwitdh and Gladiator, both look like they could brawl, Red Shadow's face seems kinda strange, Not really liking it but he has Oo-Lars spear. Fangor looks cool, but with his fangs out, he kinda looks like a walrus, not a snakemen. Alot of cool accessories. Wouldnt mind seeing some of these guys come out in 2016 and beyond.

Oh please make Fang-or a figure, Mattel! At least after the "big wrap-up".
The same goes for the Great Black Wizard. And those are definately Blast Attack parts in his design!

Ok, now that I know what they look like, I can say that I like both Fang-Or & Bandwidth.

A Snake Man with extending fangs would've fit right in with the vintage line. Bandwidth is a neat concept, and a communications based character is something we haven't seen before in MOTU. I'm not keen on the name though, it's too serious and "Transformers"-esque, like Soundwave. Something more tongue-in-cheek like "Radi-or" or "Walk-E-Talk" would have been more fitting.

All the others are just bad. The GBW is WAY too similar to Skeletor (a skull-faced sorcerer? How original...) while Red Shadow and Gladiator are just incredibly bland, both their designs and names. They need something extra to make them stand out.

The less said about the Spectormobile, the better.

The Great Black Wizard looks really cool but I can't help think the concept is too close to Skeletor and somehow takes something away from him.
I think the fangs are too big on Fang-or, he looks like a walrus, in fact he reminds me of Turmagar the Tuska.
I'm not keen on Bandwidth or Red Shadow TBH, Gladiator looks pretty cool, would look better if both boots were the furry style ones, but I still wouldn't be fussed about a figure of him.

You know the more I look at them the more I'd be good with all of these in the line. The heck of it is though a lot of characters I want like Illumina and now Masque aren't likely until 2016, so if we even make it that far I already have a lot of characters I want to see made then that these kinds of characters would block if they took up slots. I'd probably make an exception for Fang-Or and the GBW, but mostly I would want the characters I've been waiting for already.

Well but he was shown fighting against Skeletor and He-Man on the side of the Horde and Snake Men in the last mini comic. I'm thinking of him more like the Horned King from the Chronicles or Prydain or Kael from the movie Willow where the skull is just a mask and part of his helmet. Not that makes a big difference visually I guess, but I just think he looks like the Skeletor version of King Grayskull, and while I think KG does take away from He-Man a little, he's still a cool figure to own and the same goes for this guy. Wish he had a name though. Tarsus or something, anything that sounds like a name and not a subtitle.

Bandwidth is a horrible name. I doubt Matty can get the tm for Red Shadow as Hasbro has it already. That's a good thing though as Red Shadow (the MotU char) looks like suck to me.

Fang or looks cool, I want the GBW as well.

Exactly my thoughts, I had to look closely to the sculpt to see that he was a snakeman, maybe shortening his teeth to jaw level or make the gingiva more prominent would help the snake look.

The Great Black Wizard is kinda boring, I mean, he's almost the same as the Warlock from Hero Quest, and he hasn't nothing to my eyes that makes him pop.

Bandwidth concept screams MOTU out loud so thumbs up for me, except for those TJ legs, really they are everywhere, please STAHP!

Red Shadow looks OK, but he's wearing some sort of mask? If true it would be cool and interesting, is an animal-like character so some gear made of bones and skin for him would be sweet.

Gladiator looks OK, another robotic character wouldn't hurt, he could reach some levels of amazingness with a clever paint scheme .

I highly SUPPORT new characters, The Great Black Wizard or Snarrrlll are just too awesome and deserve a figure!

I really like all of these designs and I think they are planned for the line after the 2014/15 rollout is complete and if there is any fanbase left.

My favourites are GBW - I think if they colour him differently to Skeletor he could work very well. Fang-Or is cool, a bit like a walruss, but its OK, Tung Lashor looked like a frog.

Also like Bandwidth and have no issue with his name, I like he has Man-E-Faces' robot face. Gladiator is cool as long as he isn't blue and doesn't have a red cape.

Snarrl/Red Stripe is my least favourite as he is too similar in design to Moss Man.

I'm all for new characters and Im especially diggin' red stripe, black wizard and fang-or. the other two seems a litle bit too plain in the vein of sir laser lot or sorta.

did anyone noticed that red stripe's pet pictured on the right side is a Schminivits form the Filmation episode "quest for He Man" where Plundor appeares?
