Custom Character - Tank Top II

Tank Top II – Heroic Tank Trooper
    Real Name: Roger Stevens
After the original Tank Top joined the army of Eternos with the Fighting Foe Men, Man-At-Arms worked with him to design robot warriors in the guise of Tank Top in order to provide a formidable, but expendable army that could be used to battle the armies of Skeletor’s Hover Robots & Hordak’s Horde Troopers. Similar to the Horde Troopers, the Tank Troopers would be controlled by a central computer located in Eternos Palace. After completing building the first battalion of troopers, but before programming and assigning them serial numbers a young apprentice of Man-At-Arms named Roger Stevens used his engineering training to take control of one of the Tank Troopers by reprogramming it and rebuilding it as a suit of “robot” armor. Unable to enlist in the Palace Guards due to his diminutive size and lack of strength, Roger saw controlling one of the Tank Troopers would grant him the ability to defend Eternos despite his physical limitations. Unaware that Man-At-Arms had built in a failsafe device that would render the entire battalion inoperable if a single one had its software altered in any way, Roger slept in the armor that night waiting for Duncan to return in the morning. The next morning when Man-At-Arms returned to his lab to start up the battalion, not a single one responded. That is, until Roger screamed in fright alerting Duncan of what he had done. Unbeknownst to Roger, when he rebuilt the trooper as a suit he caused the suit to become semi-self-aware and overnight it fused with the slumbering apprentice. Now that the other Tank Troopers were rendered useless making Roger the sole functioning Tank Trooper he dubbed himself Tank Top II, Tank Trooper.
