Her voice, along with Saiki's from Band-Maid, are so sultry, sexy, and the talent speaks for itself.

It's very interesting how there are a number of all-female Japanese hard rock bands that are talented and good, but there's hardly anything like them being pushed in America.

I rang in the New Year with an online concert with Gretchen Peters, Eliza Gilkyson and Mary Gauthier, it was called Three Women And The Truth: Screw 2020 Livestream.

My dad's mom fell yesterday, not sure if she's still in the hospital but these two songs being released so recently and how they deal with the loss of family kind of make that situation hit a bit too hard.

Also both videos are I would say a master class in conveying the emotions of the songs so well.

Probably the same feeling that I still have these past 2 weeks. Great songs, it just conveyed the emotion of loss, loneliness and recuperation.

Had to put video in here, This is one of the song that I remembered when my mom trying to calm me down as an infant/toddler. I started listened to the original version by Boz Scaggs few days before my mom passed away. To be fair, my mom unintentionally gave me a lot of musical influence on soft rock. My dad blast on Deep Purple and Whitesnake compared to female singer songwriter soft rock by my mom.

At the moment, I'm having mega-marathons with all my 40+ favourite musicians/bands and 230 CD's in rotation, and hopefully more of my favourites will release new music this year. We're only just into February and I've already got new releases from Kathy Valentine and Petra Haden so far this year.

How very refreshing, my good friend. I always feel like I have to footnote my posts because so many don't get the nuance. Then again, a kindred spirit who served with honor and valor is another story. Thank you for your service, brother.
