I have the two Xena: Warrior Princess musical episode soundtracks too, Bitter Suite and Lyre, Lyre, Hearts On Fire, they're awesome, although I think I'll listen to my DC Comics CD collection next: the Batman '66 TV and movie soundtracks, the LEGO Batman soundtrack, the Mayhem Of The Music Meister from Batman: Brave And The Bold soundtrack, and the two Music Of DC Comics soundtracks.

It's the 38TH Anniversary of The Go-Go's debut album Beauty And The Beat so congratulations must be given to the band members: Belinda Carlisle, Charlotte Caffey, Jane Wiedlin, Kathy Valentine, and Gina Schock - for such a fantabulous debut album! I must listen to all their albums to help celebrate!

    - - - Updated - - -

I also have to point out the amazing fact that The Bangles debut album All Over The Place will reach its 35TH Anniversary this year! Susanna Hoffs, Vicki Peterson, Debbi Peterson, and Michael Steele rock too!

Probably going to come off sounding like a jerk, but oh well.

Mikey. This is the "WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU CURRENTLY LISTENING TO?" thread. Not the "should listen to their music to celebrate" or the random band facts thread.

Matter of fact, you should start a Music Lover's Trivia thread, that would be a most excellent place to post things like what music they blasted at Noreiga during the Panama Invasion.

These are the music I'm listening to for the reasons I mentioned, there's nothing wrong with showing WHY we are listening to the music we mention.

    Be With You The Bangles

I wasn't suggesting that everyone NEEDS to post reasons for their song choices, it's just something I personally like to do.

Be With You by The Bangles (lead vocals by Debbi Peterson) is one of my favourite songs by the way.

Sadly this isn't a thread to post suggestion or posting a reason of song choices, if you feel like you need to explain the artists line up or a trivial question on certain album, you are free to start a new thread based on it but I'd say this isn't the thread to do on.

Graham Coxon's Love Travels at Illegal Speeds. First time I've listened to it in about 10 years and I'm not sure I like it anymore...

As I said, I only discussed my reasons and suggestions because they were - for me - revelant to a music thread. I never said everyone else had to do the same.

I'm listening to the CD soundtrack of the animated Prince Of Egypt movie, I love Amy Grant's soulful rendition of River Lullaby. I think I'll then listen to Bette Midler's comedy album Mud Will Be Flung Tonight and her concert albums Kiss My Brass and Diva Las Vegas.
