Thanks for sharing. They are AMAZING! Great sound to write with in the background. I'm an instant fan.

Btw, forgive me for my ignorance, but who is the woman in the cape? She's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen.

She covering Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, Say Hello 2 Heaven was something. At least she's covering classic rock though.

I consider The Go-Go's and The Bangles my Power Pop.

Actually I love almost all types of music EXCEPT rap and heavy metal.

European fans may be more familiar with Roxette (though they had 4 US #1s in the late 80s/early 90s. After singer Marie’s passing last year, the chapter closed on the band but they’ve just released new single Let Your Heart Dance With Me from an upcoming album Bag Of Trix featuring unreleased songs through the years. If you liked them back in the day, listen to this latest single.

    Carlo Nuccio
    Mark Walton
    Matthew Sweet

Ever hear of these guys named Sinatra, Crosby, Tony Bennett, Jerry Vale, Wayne Newton, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin?

I guess I'm showing my age...

My favourite musicians range in age from the oldest, Bette Midler - 74 (75 on December 1) to youngest, Jon Peter Lewis - 40 (41 on November 7).

    - - - Updated - - -

I just bought Petra Haden & Danny Frankel's New Thing On Jupiter and Luba Mason's Triangle albums. The weird thing is that one CD cost around $35 with free shipping and the other one was $5 with a $20 shipping charge. That's just NUTS!

I really LOVE the Suzy Bogguss & Chet Atkins cover of Elton John's Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word from their Simpatico album. Admittedly, I'm not really a fan of Elton, but I LOVE Suzy, and Chet is extremely talented as well.

    - - - Updated - - -

I'm currently listening to Sat Siri performed by Donna DeLory and Belinda Carlisle.

I'm also listening to the new single Sunday Birmingham which is currently only available to members of Suzy Bogguss Inner Circle.

Here is the video for the new single Sat Siri by Donna DeLory and Belinda Carlisle.

Kathy Valentine from The Go-Go's has released a solo version of a song she wrote with fellow bandmember Jane Wiedlin years ago called Beneath The Blue Sky

Also, my copy of Triangle, the new album by Luba Mason just arrived in the mail, and I've already heard the album in an online concert/chat. Here is the amazing song Bach, Stevie Wonder And Janelle Monae.

Martina McBride - Girls Like Me (her new single).

I still believe The Go-Go's and The Bangles are the true pioneers of women's rock and pop. Here, one member of each band, Susanna Hoffs & Belinda Carlisle team up to perform Our Lips Are Sealed (written by Jane Wiedlin) and Eternal Flame (written by Susanna Hoffs).

Speaking of Jane Wiedlin, here she is performing Cool Places with Russell & Ron Mael from Sparks. Love those translucent yellow drums!

All Christmas music, only classics, 24/7 for the next six weeks. Wonderful to trim every room in our home today. The lights officially go on outside our home and on all of the grounds at sunset!

May the spirit of the Holiday Season be bright for you all.

Wonderful! This is our daughter Zoe's favorite, along with I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. She began singing Feliz Navidad at age four and has never stopped.

Thank you for sharing. May the blessing of the season be upon you and yours.
