Lovely and talented Cynthia Gibb (from Bette Midler's Gypsy) has a single on YouTube called Everything Works Out Just Fine and it's a duet with someone named PR Paul. I hope Cynthia will release an album someday, she's amazing!

Started paying for Pandora last month and started discovering bands and artists I'd never heard of. I've been listening to Dirty Heads, Ekoh, Spose, Vin Jay, E-Dubble, and Scroobius Pip. Lots of chill stoner music and indie rappers.

I admit I usually prefer physical CD's but I recently joined Spotify which has a lot of rare songs by many of my favourite musicians that aren't on CD.

I’ve fallen down the Nirvana rabbit hole again. Happens once every couple years. Discovered a whole community of fans who have “completed” some of Cobain’s home boombox/acoustic guitar demos, so you can hear him sing his embryonic songs with a full band… not long ago I’d call this desecration of the lowest order but now I think it’s the most beautiful thing. His gear and equipment have been so well documented and recreated these days that it’s almost trivial to get a faithful sound.

I can’t stay in this hole too long because it makes me terribly sad…hell I may have expressed this exact thing in this very thread.
Please check out my custom figures. The first few stink but I get better.

I also wrote a fanfic. See the fanfic board. At least four people like it.

I prefer Physical CD due for a physical momento & no DRM on that one. But time to time I feel good converting them to FLAC/ALAC/APE file format just to have lessen sacrifice on the quality.

But seriously some of the rare singles or EP are hard to find and really frustrate me, especially if I bought a used copy with a pretty much bad physical quality mark like scratches. Hopefully we will get a better cloud music services to keep our rare even an unreleased demos...... like ONCE UPON A TIME IN SHAOLIN

Big Big Love - Belinda Carlisle

    - - - Updated - - -

The Go-Go’s bassist Kathy Valentine and The Bangles lead guitarist Vicki Peterson are among a variety of well-known musicians who have contributed to a charity cover of the chart-topping 1983 Eurythmics hit Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).

    https://miraculouslovekids.org/sweet-dreams/

The track was recorded in collaboration with The Miraculous Love Kids/Girl With A Guitar, a project that aims to bring and teach music to girls in war-torn Afghanistan.

“I watched all the videos, looked at the entire website, and read all the press,” Kathy Valentine explains in a statement. “After doing all that, I decided I wanted to be of service to The Miraculous Love Kids.”

Adds Vicki Peterson, “This was a singular honour for me to be a part of and I would love to be involved further.”

Other artists who are featured on the cover include Cherie Currie of The Runaways, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer, Foo Fighters keyboardist Rami Jaffee, The Bird & The Bee and Umphrey’s McGee drummer Kris Myers.

not the only fantastic song from this album, but it's the one that is a pretty accurate representation of my soul in this current (seemingly never ending) season of life. It starts off somber, but it has it's more hopeful moments.
