    Hello from Pennsylvania!

Greetings, everyone! I loved the original He-Man as a kid in the 80's and just discovered the 2002 series on youtube! Good stuff. I'm interested in finding quality, affordable collectible statues and figures, so this must be the place for it!

As an adult I'm heavily into some comic heroes again, Nightwing especially, and I attended my first Comic-Con last year in Baltimore, and I plan to be there again this year!! Great to know we don't have to give up the fun things in life that help put a smile on our faces as we drudge through the real world!

    Cheers!

    ...Andy

Thank you, KelAcos!! I'm new to purchasing items from forums such as this, and since I added figures I'd like to aquire to my Want List, how can I go about obtaining them at this point?

He-Man was a lot of fun in the 80s and he is illustrated so much cooler in the latest version. The figures based off the newest cartoon are impressive, love to get my hands on those!

Great to find a group where adults are free to enjoy our comic and hero passions!

Hey Andy and welcome! I'm 41 and since last year I find myself in this strange time-warp thing where I too am getting back into the preteen stuff. I'm not sure what triggered it or if I need to seek medical help(just kidding)but it started with some old Conan the Barbarian comics from the 70's and early 80's and then, this past October I picked up the entire MOTU 2002 series on DVD from Walmart, and things really started to snowball.

I'm really hoping after the current classic figures runs it's course they do a rerun of the original toys. They have to do something, and I'm sure a reprint of the original run would sell in the stores.

I did recently see a guy on eBay from Ohio selling some of the 2002 figures still boxed for $20 a piece.

Joe, I know what you mean! I'm in my 40's also, and I've just never grown out of watching cartoons! I'm a responsible enough person (military, was in Iraq in 09) but I allow myself that bit of childhood fun!
I still love my superheroes and my DVD collection is full of the DC and Marvel films, and in 2012 I started collecting series again...what makes me feel great about myself is that every time I go to the comicbook store, there are only other adults there LOL. Adults make up the majority of the costuming clubs, like the 501st Legion, too (and yes, I'm working on getting myself a Storm Trooper armor set to join the Legion). Just so many fun ways to make life enjoyable, and why not!

My collections are mostly DC hero related, but after seeing the 2002 He-Man, I feel the need to add He-Man to my collection, too. Great to find such easygoing people here!

Me too - some fun in a responsible life. But I'm a confirmed Masters fan and don't stray much further. You won't go far wrong with 2002 He-Man!

    Welcome to the Org.
