Military, and others serving in uniform...I see there is a Guardsmen of Eternia group for those of us in uniform. There must be others on here!

I joined the group today, let's band together, come on over and join!

Combat veteran here still in the Army … for another 2 months! Can't believe it's almost over

NICE...I was in Iraq in 2009!

I was Afganastan 2001-2002. Was supposed to go to Baghdad but flight line got....damaged. Ended up in Prague instead. Not a bad deal actually!

We were at the air field in Talil! COB Adder was our AO. I'm with a Combat Aviation Brigade. 2017 is my ETS, hoping not to extend lol. Everyone join the Guardsmen of Eternia group!

(Yes - I was a bona fide palace guardsman.... but guarding HM the Queen and doing ceremonial duties was by no means our only role; we saw plenty of hard fighting, too....)

NICE...that sounds just like our Army's Old Guard posted in Washington, D.C....they are ceremonial, do state funerals, dress in colonial regalia, but are also Infantry and have been deployed.

HRH the Duchess of Cambridge (the Colonel's Lady) presents the Shamrock to Brian Boru, the Regimental Mascot of the 1st Bn. The Irish Guards.

I was an officer in the Royal Green Jackets (Rifle Brigade) in the Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve.
Our RHQ was at Winchester.

I enjoyed my time in uniform and would have liked to stay longer, but my career in the law was too demanding in the end to do both.
I saw action in two campaigns and made a lot of friends, and we are all still in touch.

Good to see this group forming up.
