RESULTS from Round 2, Week 2 of the 2016 MOTUC Character Selection Playoffs!

I disagree with pulling Filmation Hordak. I've been voting for a proper Hordak. And still haven't seen it revealed.
Therefore I say , ask the fans if he should be pulled.

While I agree with the sentiment, it would be futile. We have been told - "this is Filmation Hordak". If a list is presented to Mattel that he is on, he will be immediately crossed off because they will go "we already did that". The message will simply not be received the way it would be intended. To be honest, I don't think any of these figures are actually going to be made (as part of a 2016 full sub - I just don't think the full blind sub model is going to survive, if we get 2015 it will be a miracle), but in any case I think it would be a waste of a slot to include him at this point.

But, like I said - I totally agree with the sentiment.

That's correct. They aren't going to go back to the drawing board on the figure. And they definitely won't pull it as it's already in production so it can be freighted over in time for SDCC.

Well, at least, whatever the results end up being, with so many I like it's not likely I'll be disappointed as I was with poll 2 last week, in which six of my top ten ended up in the bottom eight or nine of the rankings....

I agree that Filmation Hordak should be pulled out from the list and the first excluded from the turn should be picked up.
No metter if the SDCC is Filmation Hordak we are asking for or not, we will never get another, just complementary accessories if we get lucky. It's a figure slot wasting.

Though with how FILMation Hordak turned out, I don't know how likely a FILMation Skeletor would be to satisfy actual FILMation fans.

I don't understand how Odiphus is that high on so many people's lists either.
On one hand the existing staction works perfectly with MOTUC. And then I don't get how people prefer a MOTUC version over a new (full sized) character...

Comfort yourself in that he didn't get cut by much. If Tuvar/Baddara were a two pack which would be the logical way to release them, he would have been number 10.

I too long for some poseable 200x version of Randor (Captian, king, BA), but with 2 Randor figures already in the Classics, I always feel greedy asking for one. (Didn't stop me from voting for him . The staction is just going to have to do for now.

Sad to see so mane Filmation chcraters go. I'll never understand the love for Tuvar and Badra. I just don't get it. They're the same guy as Two Bad, only that they're like two valuable figure slots in a time when there are hardly any slots left.

Dark Dream was eliminated?!?! That's amazing to me. There are so many terrible figures left in the running but great ones keep getting eliminated. Kinda depressing.

I have mixed thoughts about the results. Good to see some make it, & saddened to see some go, & also saddened to see some bottom feeders make it to the top 10.

Here is an enhanced look at the results from Round 2. Characters listed in white are on the chopping block for Round 3. Week 9 results should be fairly easy to predict based on the continuing trend.

*Note: Imp (Filmation) and Hordak (Filmation) were removed because of their SDCC announcement. King Ahgo and Bould-Or take their place. In Round 2, they both took 11th place in their respective polls. This could help Vizar (NA) potentially survive Round 3 since he placed 6th right below Hordak (Filmation). Imp's 10th place finish indicates his removal will not have any impact on the polling's results.



Not surprisingly, all but one character who had placed 6th-10th place in the prior round were eliminated in today's results.
