    Hi All!
I had an account long ago in 2002 or so, back when the 200x series was kicking off. I love the original 80's MOTU, really super dug the 200x and am so very thrilled about the classics line. I have loved MOTU since I was a little guy, with the fondest kid memory I can remember being when I received the original Castle Grayskull back in 83, for my 5th birthday. That was an awesome epic day I still have all my originals in storage, and a battered Eternia 3 tower playset that I will try and clean up and post some time.

Though I was able to catch almost all of the 200X core characters during their heyday (even that darn elusive Roboto and "Battle Fist" proper aka Fisto), life was ultra focused on the fam, finances, housing market crash, etc when Classics launched. I could not afford to really put the coin into the Classics line at that time. However, I have since launched a small biz while doing OK on career, rebound! One of the first things I focused on with some spare budget - was catching up to Classics! Not being able to participate haunted me for half a decade. First purchase and as the wife has told me, my 2014 XMas present - the new Classics Castle Grayskull!!

I'll post on a different thread my experience of going from no Classics figures to about 85 items (some duplicates) including original 2008 King Grayskull in castle box packaging (figures, vehicles, weapon packs) present or on their way in the mail since starting this quest Nov 20th, 2014. Offering hope to someone who may not have had a chance to start - you can get them. It has its cost, its challenges - but it can be done. Its taken about the cost of a small used car, but I am a very happy goof ball to have been given the chance to catch up. Using ebay, trades, amazon, BBTS, you name it - but in a short time got to a decent mark in a new guy's MOTU Classics collection.
    Thanks all for your time!

I had to do a similar thing after a lot of my collection was lost after a divorce. It was actually a lot of fun to get SOOO much stuff in a short window. Welcome to the boards! I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

    Thanks all!

For this first big push, everything of the 85 items has just come in with the exception being Granamyr who should pop in the mail tomorrow or the next day, crazy stoked!

All figures new with the exception being Fisto and Sorceress, had to very selectively ebay them loose though they came in with all accessories in tip top condition. One with the card backing which was nice. Their sealed price on both was just getting really up there!

A lot of unpacking to do still, but waiting...so patiently to tear into GraySkull and a stack of my favorites till XMas day!

I am still waiting patiently till xmas to open Castle Grayskull, how it taunts me with its amazing box art

Got a lot more figures up now, Granymyr now proudly showcased. Only a handful of figures away from feeling very caught up (Whiplash is my only remaining core missing evil Warrior) , and when new subs are out I do plan on subscribing from here on out, wish I could have before. I will say getting beast man took some doing, as was teela, ram man, sorceress and Fisto. Waiting in desperation for Battle Ram to pop back up on Matty (hoping that's not a lost cause!)
