New to the site, but a long time He-fan!!!

A little about my self, back in 1981, was 9 yrs. old, living in Dover Delaware where my dad was stationed in the Airforce. My family took me and my sister shopping called Boscov ( I thing it was a store similar to Dillards ) and that's where I saw many He-man action figures for the first time. I immediately fell in love, the packaging art was fantastic, a mixture of sci-fi/fantasy oil and water color paintings on boxes. My parents didn't buy me any of the figures immediately, but my first figure I got later on was Skeletor which was selling at a 7-11 for $5, so my parents gave me money to buy it!
Then Christmas came along and my parents got me a suitcase (child size) filled with the first run of He-man figures, including battlecat, and Castle Grayskull (not In the suitcase), also 2 major vehicles, Windraider and Battleram! I was in heaven, my dad helped me put castle Grayskull together, and I remember embarrassingly that I wanted to do the sticker for the flag, but of coarse screwed up royally, but that's ok!
Aound 85-86 I gave all my He-man toys to my mom's friend who has a couple of boy's from the Philipines who don't have any toy's, so my mom asked if I have anything to give, so packed up my He-man toys and gave them to her, I did not miss them much since they where packed away and not played with.
I had renewed interest when Matty collector released the classics line and purchased 5 or so figures, including Classics Castle Grayskull , then recently went to a vintage toy store and bought a vintage Castle Grayskull like the one from my childhood, great condition, some parts are missing, but overall a nice find. Purchased all the missing pieces and getting repro labels, soon the restoration will be complete. As I write this I went ahead and purchased loose vintage figures from e-bay, the ones I had when I was kid, cant wait to get them in the mail, I really feel like the 9 yr. old boy again, that's why I joined this site to be around people who appreciate the toys as much as I do now!
