What type of MOTU ReAction figures would you buy?

If we end up getting a full blown MOTU ReAction figure line, what would you like to see them based off of? You can vote for multiple ones.

I think I'd most like to see some based off the 1987 movie, since some of those characters (ie: Lubic, Kevin, Julie, Skeletor's Troopers, and Karg) don't really need the buff bodies that most MOTU figures have.

I'd probably get some based off of the Vintage toyline or Filmation as well. It would be hard to tell the difference between the two in some regards other than the cards since they aren't super articulated.

87 movie. I would pock those up. Julie, Kevin, Lubik, and Skeletor's Troopers would be an awesome idea.

Honestly, I just want Stratos figures but I'd likely buy more.

1987 Movie ReAction figures would interest me the most, followed by vintage MOTU and FILMation.

None, and I say that as someone who loves both the ReAction figures and MOTU. The style is perfect for most 80s properties, but they're just too skinny to do MOTU justice.

EDIT: After seeing the finished action figures with that beautiful packaging artwork, I take back what i said before. I didn't think it would work, but I was wrong. They are terrific!

It is very cool to be have Star Wars scaled MOTU toys. I wouldn't trade any of my other He-Man figures for them, as they still pale by comparison to the real vintage toys, but for what they are, they are very neat.

I think it would work well for movie characters like Julie and Kevin who would look silly all muscled up.

A 1987 movie line could work well...not entirely sold on having the vintage line done this way...and that's coming from someone who was a child of the 80s...perhaps children of the 70s might feel differently though :/

Yep. And, if one liked a more vintage feel for their figures, they could always just, you know...buy the old figures. I never understood the reaction stuff. Making new toys look really old. This seems like a step backwards as far as articulation, design, scuplt, etc.

I also love both MOTU and the ReAction stuff, but I don't want MOTU in ReAction - Classics has spoiled me for all other scales, styles and articulation levels for Masters.

I have a few ReAction figures, and I really like them. I like the simplicity, I like the compact size, I like the varied selection of properties, I like the matching scale, and I really, really like the price point. I even like the packaging, and I'm not a collector that keeps a lot of packaging!

If they offered all of these, I'd likely buy from them all. Especially with the matching scale.
    Insert witty comment here.

I felt that the best ones for this would be the 1987 movie characters. Those fans deserve these in some fashion!

I love the ReAction toys. Most of them in fact. All the properties they have access to, I want most of them... Well I would have as a kid.

I love them, I love them in package, I wish I could want them. They are a thing of beauty...but I just cannot validate having any of these. I love the aesthetic and especially how they look packaged. However I am vehemently against MIB collecting and the packaging is at least half (if not more) of the beauty of these things, along with the style of the figures in the bubble of course.

But I am not a child in the 80's anymore and I cannot pay these kind of prices for toys that look like this. When I was a kid if I could have had the quality of figues we have now I would have prefered to. I have beloved nostalgia for this look, but frankly they were not great.

So though I love the properties I'd rather have "good" versions of the characters, especially for the prices. Make the prices match the early 80's too and I'd be in.

    What Baronterror said ^^^^

Way overpriced for essentially happy meal toys. Not gonna pay 15 dollars for something that looks like it came from the 70's. Though I'll admit the dark crystal reaction figures are pretty awesome, and I had bought them however, I returned them to the store when I found out that the Winged Kira and Garthim was limited to only 500 pieces at NYCC. I was kinda P O"ed by this and I'm very scorched Earth so I returned them as well as my funko pops to Toys R Us for store credit. If Funko wants to do that to their fans great. I vote with my wallet.

I'd lean towards Filmation, vintage toy line would be good too but would settle for a scareglow regardless

Vintage completed at this point, so we don't end up with a half finished line.
Wanted in MOTUC: 1) Masks of Power Demons 2) Mini-Comics Tri-Klops 3) Hoove 4) Vintage Attack Trak 5) Leech (Club Grayskull)
