Yeah, I would liked to have seen what is in store in the future.

I'm not asking for completed prototypes or anything like that, but it would have been cool to hear, "Teela fans have a lot to look forward to!" Or, "1:6 Accessory Packs are an idea that we're toying with." Heck, even, "We are currently in talks with Dreamworks in the hopes of adding some SPOP to our lineup."

Maybe some sketches, news, insights, y'know, things to get fans excited... that's all.

Yeah I guess maybe we've been spoiled in the past by the 4H doing things like sneaking in an accessory to an unannounced figure…and I guess asking about that now is considered lamenting? Maybe it's possible they held back something to show at PowerCon since it follows San Diego so closely? To reiterate, what was shown was fantastic! Totally blown away by Battle Cat! And while I'll be skipping Trap Jaw (simply because I'm having to cherry pick) I think he looks fantastic as well!
I'll certainly believe Florian when he says he doesn't think it was meant as a slight or anything to that effect.

To be honest I have not seen the head sculpt minus the jaw but my concept art is more in line with MOTU classics trap Jaw in terms of his jaw ripped off.
Even though I like the Rev Trap Jaw toy I really don't like the way he looks with the jaw down.

Damn. I remembered this link from a while ago and I think I want to grab a Mer Man. Sadly he’s now sold out at sideshow.

Does anyone know of any other retailers still selling him at RRP? I’d rather avoid scalper fees.

I just checked BBTS and they have sold out as well. Looks like you will be hunting eBay.

What a weird turn of events. I started looking online for a Mondo Mer Man and found a store in Australia with 1 left in stock.

I checked it’s location and it’s 500m (1/3 of a mile) from my house!! I never knew it existed. It’s an absolute treasure trove of vintage toys and vintage brands, I’ve never seen so many motu vintage, 200x, Classics or Origins in 1 place ….ever.

I should have taken photos.

So I grabbed Mer Man and they even think they can bring in a vintage He-Man without accessories (I have all the accessories but no figure) so 2 birds with 1 stone!

Here is the new guy in town. Such great detailing.

Lobos would be great if they didn’t charge ridiculously well above ebay prices and if they didn’t regularly sell repro items. They don’t advertise if weapons or accessories are repros, you need to know or ask them.

I really hope they delay Battle Cat and Trap Jaw as long as possible or I’m going to have to make some hard decisions.

Man I really want Battle Cat but I fear what the price may be. I also want to pick up Keldor, since I unfortunately missed him when he was first released. But those ebay prices do scare me. Maybe he will be re-released down the road?
