I know it’s bad-guy heavy, but man, it was those designs that really captured the imagination. I can only imagine what Mondo could do with the Horde and the Snake Men.

I've been trying to think about this line in terms of what makes sense from a cost and ROI point of view. Because I'm a dork with too much time on my hands, I went and broke up the vintage line (plus She-Ra) into four groups. The first are the characters Mondo could do with only the usual changes to the existing body sculpt (head, armor, feet, etc). The second are characters that could work with the redesigned Beast Man body. The third are the female characters. And the fourth are characters that would need a big redesign if Mondo wanted to include the character's gimmick. Of course, I could always be (and probably am) wrong, but I think those are the figures we're less likely to see. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I don't really undersatnd your reasoning on how Leech, Tung Lashor, and Whiplash could use a Beast Man furry buck for their figures. Seems like these would need their own reptilian kind of body for them to work properly, and furry details would just not work for these 3.

It's possible they'll create a new body to use for those characters, but I was mostly referring to bulk. As far as texture goes, He-Man and Mer-Man use the same body. And it sounds like Beast Man and Stratos will as well.
Mondo should figure out who this is and refuse to sell to them or string them up as an example whichever works

Looks like the MOTUbi Skeletor is $250. Dayum. Hopefully the MOTUbi Merman will have a wider release.

This ding-dong here waited two months to open Faker (it's been a lil' busy around these parts lately) and upon doing so, saw that I was mistakenly sent the Previews version and so it's missing the battle damaged head that was supposed to be part of the Mondo Exclusive version. Doh! I emailed their support, but feel like since it's been a while since it was actually delivered that they might tell me I'm out of luck. Has anyone else had this happen with a version being mixed up, and how was it handled?
They still have the exclusive Faker in stock so it should be an easy swap. Both my exclusive He-man and Skeletor had paint issues and they sent a return label for both and replaced them with better copies (about to send Skeletor back on Monday). Just explain what happened and send photos. Trust me, that extra head is awesome. You really want it.
Any word on whether the Designercon Skelly sold out??
