I love that you noticed this. When we were filming that interview Scott was holding a "Gandalf" style pipe the entire time, good eye! hahahah

PS I don't think Scott actually smokes.

I am so glad I backed this. I loved the film. Looking forward to watching all the extras
Coming straight out of Preternia, tribal chieftess and the original WARRIOR GODDESS, SHARELLA!!!

Sharella needs her day in Classics. She is the only remaining vintage POG character that needs a figure.
    Support Sharella for Collectors Choice!

My top 5 wants for MOTUC: Sharella, Hunga the Harpy, Sagitar, Snake Goddess & Red Beast

Power of Grayskull: The Definitive History of He-Man & MOTU documentary

So those are my kids at around the 1:28:30 mark as Trap Jaw and Bow for the Power-Con costume contest a couple of years back! My daughter and I caught it at the premiere showing of the documentary at Power-Con last year and were totally surprised. So happy they have landed a unique place in He-Man history.

    Thanks Power of Grayskull team!

The more I learn about the Making of the Movie, the more appreciation I have for it. And fascinating to know in an earlier draft there already were Earth scenes. So that's not a "hey we lost half the budget now lets move whole production and story-narrative to different location" type of thing as fans have thought all these years.

And in Stout's character sheet, we have cool looking characters like Vampyrus and Warlord. Which kinda makes sense now, since didn't Karg say at end of the movie right when He-Man is about to transform, that "Warlord, lets go!" as he, Evil-Lyn and I think Beast Man were retreating...

Couldn't resist to watch the movie on the weekend. Maaan, what an awesome documentary. Seeing my name in the end credits, hearing to the song in the background, remembering myself playing with my first MotU figures back in '86 as a four year old and now being a teeny-weeny tiny part of MotU history literally gave me goose bumps.

I watched it this morning on Netflix (Canada). I don't know if i can say it was better than the Toys That Made Us episode of MOTU. Maybe it was just me, but I felt that NA, 200X, and MOTUC got skimmed over too quickly. Understandably, they spent a lot of time on the Filmation and the live motion picture but it would have been nice to see a lot of the other media get some love from that era like the Golden storybooks the Marvel/Star Comics, UK Comics, and MOTU Magazine. I know MOTUC wasn't the billion dollar line that the original MOTU was, but with a line that lasted almost twice as long and gave us twice the figures, it should have got more ample time. Heck, I would have loved to hear how they actually finally got the license to make the Filmation figures. Again, great documentary, but after seeing the Toys That Made Us, I guess I was expecting more...
