    Introduction

Hello! I've been born in 1977 so I witnessed the first wave of MotU and frankly I am most fond of those figures and stories. The dark and gritty atmosphere of the first few comic books was quite unlike anything I came across in my childhood. Since then I fondly remember the toys (and books and other stuff) and occasionally return to see what happened to this idea.

I made an account way back in 2007 or so but I can't remember it at all, so here I am again. I think it is endlessly fascinating how MOTU basically bridged 70's and 80's toys and imagery and I am interested in the IP as a cultural icon.

Thanks for having me! I am glad this community exists.

And glad you're back! You were born at the right time to jump in and enjoy MOTU in the 80s, that's for certain.

I was born in 1978 and i totally get you. Those first mini comics were and ARE amazing. As much as a friend and me loved the cartoon we never got why they never mentioned the splitting swords for example

Enjoy your time here and Welcome!
