OK so looking at he boxes, they say "action figure" but at he top right it says "not a Toy" What the hell does that mean? They sure look like toys. Anyone know why that is listed on the package?

Oh and by the way... Mer-Man will definitely be hanging out with Vintage Walrusman, Snaggletooth and Hammerhead... You know they would all party together!!!
I will NEVER believe that Mermista beheaded Mer-Man! You sit on a throne of lies.... and smell of beef and cheese, bio writer!!!!

There are probably tighter safety regulations for "toys" would be my guess.

    Sadly they aren't resealable!
I met 3 heroes: their names are Jedi_Kunle, Mikethedrummer and Miracle Max.
And I also met an angel called David. Good journey, sit tibi terra levis.

The Firefly figures say the same. I'm guessing it has to do with regulations (as Firefly mentioned).

Man, that card art is fantastic! I think I might have to buy two of each.

The more I look at them the more I like them. I do wish Skeletor looked a bit less goofy. Also it would have been nice to have He-Man's belt and bracers in orange. Still very cool, probably my favorite reveals of the last few days.

Do they charge you when you preorder or when the figures ship in April?

Freaking love these things! Nice to see what they could have looked like back in the day had the property been owned by a certain other company. Can't wait to pick them up. Would love to see Castle Grayskull along with the vehicles in this style as well.

    That would be INSANE

They charge you when you preorder, at least if you pay with Paypal.

It will be interesting to see how deep they go with these things. Battle Cat would be a challenge due to the leg design of the figures

I could see it working if they made it like the old Star Wars Tauntaun where the figures legs stuck down into a springload opening. Sure it might look a little awkward for He-Man to be stuck down into Cringer, but I'd take it! haha

That was exactly how I was thinking they'd do Battle Cat

Even if they dont officially release one I wouldnt be surprised if someone doesnt make one. Hell if I get the 3D printer I've been coveting I might just have to myself! ha

Good point! They might need to alter the design of the saddle to explain the disappearing legs, like on the Tauntaun:

I'm looking forward to posing these guys with Castle Grayskull (vintage or Classics). I feel at the 3.75 figure scale, Castle Grayskull will finally look large enough compared to the figures.

Yeah was thinking about that as well. Battle Cat could come with two saddles. One with molded legs so when He-Man is riding it looks as if he is straddling him. Then another that is a normal saddle for when He-Man is off on foot. That is if they didn't want to alter the look of the original saddle.

You're right the castle would look monstrous next to these guys!

It's interesting that Mattel's pre-MOTU 3 3/4" figures had a wider stance than the Kenner figs

I did a double-take when I got to the image of the Devil's boatman figure. The package art, unlike the figure itself, appears to have the purple/greenish-yellow coloring of Skeletor!

I know, right? I've wondered if that art wasn't the inspiration for how Skeletor was colored. Those Clash of the Titans figures came out around when MOTU was being developed.
