Hello all! I'm a returning member - been away for a few years

Hello all,

I tried in vain to log in over the last couple of days or so but it's been so long that I forgot my old log in, e-mail etc so have set up a new account. I was reminded of this great forum after stumbling across the art of MOTU book on Amazon a few days ago which I immediately ordered!

I used to be on this forum every day without fail, but have not been here for perhaps 10 years or so. Mendoc was my previous username. (My old MOTU name given by the UK fan club in the 80's) I blame my wife, 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son for distracting me over the last few years!

I'm glad to be back. My biggest regret with regard to MOTU was selling the 2001 SDCC statue when I moved after only owning it a year, so that was 14 years ago! Blimey. So pleased to hear of the new sideshow statue and very happy to have placed a preorder. Surprised that lots of people seem to think it doesn't look like He-Man - in my opinion it's no big a departure from the current than the 2000 version was from the original.

I remember a few old names, But can't seem to find them having had a look around. Is HAVOC still around? Havov kindly sent me a VHS tape years ago full of the old cartoons? If you're reading this Havoc, thanks again!

Other regulars users I remember are JVS3 (obviously!) The Shadow, Lord Fallen Eldor, Lioncourt.

Anyway, it's good to be back and I hope you're all well.

Glad to have you back, Mendoc! I remember you from back in the day.

JVS3 and TheShadow are sill here all the time. LFE stops by every so often. It's been a while since Lioncourt of Havoc has been active, but I bet they still lurk.

Anyway, I hope you stick around for a while.

Hi dorrmann, I remember you too! Thanks for the welcome. I think you helped me out with a couple of the Neca statues, or put me in touch with someone all those years ago!

Mendoc was also my UK fan club name and I still have my ID/member card, I think I might have even tried to register with it here when I originally signed up but you'd already got it.
You know in the new MOTU comics by DC there is a new healer character called Mendor, I've said in the threads about the comics how cool it would have been if that character had been called Mendoc after the UK fan club name.
