Hello, I'm a fan from France and I'm new here!

I discovered this website a while ago, but I just registered. So… hello everybody!
Hope my English will be good enough to discuss with you all. I was a big fan of MOTU when I was a kid (I was born in 1981), and the Dolph Lundgren movie is my first memory of a live action film seen in a cinema! Now, I have a bunch of MOTUC figures, even Castle Grayskull… and I'm happy to let my kids play with them. They're also familiar with the Filmation cartoon series, which they love. My biggest hope is to bring them to the cinema to see a proper He-Man movie one day!

    Hey man.

Welcome aboard. I share my MOTUC figures with my daughter, Adora. Playing them with her is awesome!

And don't worry about your English. You speak better English than I do French. You'll do great.

Wow, Dorrmann, you named your daughter Adora, that's awesome! Adam is only my son's middle name

Her name is Adora Evelyn (after Evil Lyn's real name). If we have a son, it'll be Adam Edward.

Nice names! My son is Leopold Adam, and my daughter is Rebecca Promethea (after the Alan Moore comic book series). I wonder how many young Keldors there are out there…

Why, thank you but I wish I were really fluent! It's easier to write than to speak. Fun fact, the first English words I learnt were the names of the MOTU characters. They were called differently here (He-Man was Musclor, Mer-Man was Oceanor, etc.) but the original names were still printed on the toy boxes. Some mini comics were even printed with two versions of the same story, in French and in English. That's how I began to read in English! So, I recently purchased the mini comics collection, and I use it with my children to teach them some English words and idiomatic expressions.
