    Unproduced MOTU vintage last wave

So, as I understood the last unproduced wave was a direct MOTU continuity and not a part of the POG wave.
Excepted if I forgot something, a total of 6 new figures were planned:

    Heroic Warriors:
    - An Heroic Ninja
    - A guy with the Fisto's head, He-Ro's armor etc
    - Strobo

    Evil Warriors: (or Horde/Snakemen)
    - Snake Horde Trooper
    - A snakeman with Clawful's gripper, Scare Glow's cape etc (this one is looking to be at my eyes like a new Snakemen leader...(?))
    - A snakeman with Trap-Jaw mechanical arm, Whiplash's head etc

I can imagine that He-Ro and Eldor were planned to be sold at the same time, with them we have a total of 8 unproduced figures.
Now the question is: Have we other informations concerning this wave??

EDIT: To illustrate this thread the Errol McCarthy's artworks:

I don't know any more than those. I'm not sure what I would have thought of seeing those kit bashes in the toy isle back in the day. Since I like ninjas and he looks mostly just like a white version Ninjor, I'd probably like him the most.

These actually look pretty awful and I'm glad someone at Mattel thought the same thing and closed the lid on this wave back in the day. It's not that these are just extreme parts re-use, it's that they just don't look good mish-mashed like they are. Not terribly inventive and just generally nonsensical (moreso than some of the more bizarre MOTU concepts... LOL).

I like them overall. I don't mind parts reuse, but it's tough to swallow the reuse of heads (unless it's something like a secret identity or a clone or variant). But, with the right paint job it can be less obvious. Case in point - Moss Man and Stinkor are two of my favorites.

I'd really love to know what the color scheme on these things was going to be.

I'd love to get Classics figures of these guys, mostly to complete the Strobo series.

I think my favourite is the Snake Man with Whiplash's head, Rattlor's neck, Trap Jaw's arm, & Mosquitor's legs. He's so bizarre looking!

I wish we knew what their colour schemes would have been.

Great piece of history! I don't see them being so much different from Fuerza-T figures in a lot of ways. I wouldn't have wanted official figures of these back in the day without new heads though. I had a hard time liking Moss Man and Stinkor as I thought they were lazy parts reuse. These would be really easy to make customs of though to expand my Snake Men line! Does that look like Sssqueeze's head on one of them? That caped one is pretty awesome!

Yes it is the Sssqueeze's head.
It is my favorite one also.

The Evil characters are like a "shadow army", the black color is predominant on all of them, very cool idea.

I would have probably got the white ninja and snake horde trooper back in the day and passed on the rest.

When I saw these crazy mash-ups, the first thought that occurred to me was: "Is THIS what happened when Eldor used The Book of Living Spells to re-write history (as mentioned on his card-back)?? He-Man returned to present day, and found THIS bunch of mis-matched freaks as the new status-quo?? I'm not sure if it's the greatest idea ever, but You KNOW that a Heroic ninja warrior would have RULED back in the day! [^)

I think the main problem with these is that they're all in black and white, it shows up their part re-use more that way
I've seen Fist-Ro, Traplash and the Snake Horde Men before and thought they all looked cool but I'm new to Clawfeeze and the Heroic Ninja and I like that Clawfeeze, did we ever get names for any of these?
Anyway thanks for posting the pictures, I didn't have them, but what .pdf from Mattel?

At the Power-Con Mattel's panel, Mattel's employees said that they will give a full .pdf file to he-man.org to share it online with all fans.
Inside we will have a bunch of Errol McCarthy Artworks (including the ones posted in this thread) + packaging Proof sheets of the Star Sisters/Glory Bird etc, all the pictures shown at the panel in nice quality.

Here is a PixelDan video of the panel if you have not seen it:

These are great illustrations and I'm really glad Mattel shared them so all fans could finally see them
But as character design they don't look very good and it not the best use of parts re-use IMO. But you never know they might have turn out OK depending on the colours used.
The only one I do really like is the Heroic white Ninja, as an arch enemy of Ninjor. I'd like to think he's from the same dimension as Ninjor and sent to Eternia by his Ancient Order to find Ninjor.
Snake Horde Trooper I'd like to think are maybe The Unnamed One troops.
Wish they had names to go along with the illustrations.

I wonder if the white ninja was really going to have smooth forearms and no boots, or if that was Errol McCarthy's own interpretation? Of course he was usually very faithful to the source material.

I'm guessing yes just to make him look more "heroic" and less monstrous/demonic than Ninjor. Like you say Errol McCarthy is usually figure accurate.

Or perhaps he would have used the Stratos "sock" feet. Although you don't see the "hair" in the drawing so who knows.

I was also thinking it might use the Stratos sock feet, but now you reminded me about the hair/fur on those legs I think that would look a bit odd .

they are so cool in many ways..the first thing that impressed me is the fact that they used for some figures, parts taken from many previous waves.
let's talk about the whiplash guy:

    trap jaw 83 (arm)
    whiplash 84 (head)
    rattlor 86 (main body)
    mosquitor 87 (legs)

this probably was the mood of the line..new figures assembled with a lot of different parts from EVEry waves.
too bad they never made it in the stores..
we were about to see some weird figures -just think about the amount of different body parts they had to choose from-

Fearless Photog was also being produced with the same White Ninja legs' mold. Nothing to do with stratos/beastman furry legs.
MAybe it was a reused part from the unproduced Fearless Photog. A prototype was made for Fearless Photog.

It was intended to be released in 1987
