    Wave 4 Transforming He-man

Hi all, as seen on some very first review videos of the Transforming He-man, he's not really glowing in the dark as expected ... Any thought on that? Does anybody have him already and can post some photos or comments about the glowing effect? Thanks!

He does glow, but not as long as one would think. The effect fades really quickly.

Super7 went all retro with He-Man, going the hold-em-up-to-a-lightbulb-for-an-hour route. 'Member those days kids?!

They can't even make a good glow in the dark toy.

I have one sitting in my pile of loot at BBTS. Put the figure next to a fluorescent black light it should help a lot with the glowing effect. I know my classics scareglow is weak with all the led bulbs out now.

I never considered how the prevalence of LED bulbs would effect glow in the dark toys. Mine is on the way (along with the rest of the new series, so I'm interested to try him. I love turning the lights off in my hobby room and seeing everything glowing before I close the door!

I had transforming He-Man drop a couple weeks back. The glow isn't bad, but you'll see in the blacklight picture that the respective parts glow at different intensities.

EDIT: ARGH!!! why does this forum always make pictures switch orientation? SO frustrating!

To be expected, the transformation sequence only lasts a few second!

It may just be that the torso is hollow thus making the glow more intense.

Thanks for that picture, GITD effect is always nice..

I saw him referred to as “Elmer’s glue He-man” and I gotta say I definitely see it.
