    Zodac armour

I've recently came back to my collection of figures and was wondering is there a black variant of zodac armour or did it belong to someone else

There was a black version that came with the weapons pack:

Well as rare as it is I'm pretty sure the old Wonder Bread He-Man had black Zodac armor and maybe a black pistol like the Classics one did, but I'm not the guy to ask about vintage. As far as I know WB He-Man and the WB are the only versions of the black Zodac armor, but maybe some of the more vintage minded collectors could advise you better. I'm only going by the Classics renditions so don't bet the mortgage on any of that.

    vintage- Weapons Pak

    MOTC- Wun-Dar

I still don't understand the pink version in the first MOTUC pak. I get not repeating black, but why pink?

The WB He-Man likely did not come with any armor. That seems to be something that sellers started including with it. He probably just came with maroon sword and axe, but no one knows for sure.

My guess is he came with a pair of any of the maroon weapons, since they were all on the same sprue. I read a pretty credible testimony from someone who said he only got the shield as a kid and was disappointed (this is likely because the shield was actually made of two pieces on the sprue, so from a parts-count perspective it would equal two other weapons). Anyway, that's just my best inference.

Yeah I can see the fellas at the table discussing it, "Hey let's reissue Zodac's armor in another color."

'Well we did black and the original red already , so what's left?"

    "Pink?"

    "Yeah cool go with that."

I doubted that you had him but was just being though and as it turns out I was wrong anyway.
