IMO this is just begging to be painted up in Mumm-Ra colors....

Something very cool about this to me. I didn't love the painted version but for whatever reason I dig it in the black.

I agree... but I can already hear people complain about the paint chipping off and it's just black plastic underneath

The packaging is all black and gray too, which looks really cool.

I tend to think if you're going to go for a single color, it should either be glow in the dark or translucent, to give it some added dimension.

Why does it matter? This is for the fans who want it. Why call something "unnecessary" just because this particular variant isn't for you?
Eventually they might have a fun variant that screams "Carlo!!!!"

Why do you think this affects them making more Filmation figures? Because it doesn't.

I doubt they would stop. They are going to make use of that tooling they paid for. I'd do the same thing if I were them, as tooling is insanely expensive. So limited, unique variants is something we should expect.

There wasn't a lot left, but I don't think they had sold out by the end of the show, so I suspect the remaining stock might show up tomorrow.

I couldn't find him on the SDCC page. Just the ReAction case and the orange MUSCLE.

There isn't a specific page. You can just find some of the stuff in the MOTU section and some in the ReAction section. But not all of it shows and you have to do a search.

The Black Skeletor isn't there, though. But you can find many of the other exclusives if you poke around.

On Facebook, they gave a link for the SDCC stuff: https://super7store.com/collections/comic-con-17

I bought the Reaction Case and Rudy Art set, but with the shipping cost, it really hurt. I don't know what is up with their shipping costs. It's like every time, they are way overpriced on shipping and then adjust it later. Why is it not the right price to begin with?

Yeah, that's how I found them at first. I went to the main MOTU page, and changed the "featured" drop-down option to "comiccon17" of something like that.

At the time, there was no main page for all SDCC items, so I wound up placing a second order when that went live.
