Ya know, with this fancy-schmancy technology today I'd love to see commercials of the Munsters breakfasting in their kitchen with the Monster cereals.

Nah it's cool, the ridiculously obvious self-destruct lever in my lab just turns the coffeemaker on. I've learned from my predecessors' mistakes!

    SHHHHHHHH don't say that!!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Halloween, but it's still summer! And I am hanging onto summertime until the very last second before the equinox! (I'm not ready for cold weather, had enough of that last winter!)

Hahaha, I've already picked up quite a few Halloween items this year!!

I haven't seen the Monster cereals yet. Though I did get that card game, Count Chocula cereal bars and Boo Berry and Franken Berry Fruit Roll-Ups at Target!!

It looks like Count Chocula, Boo-Berry, and Frankenberry will hit grocery stores nationwide at the end of August... sadly, Fruit-Brute and Yummy Mummy will not be joining them in the cereal aisle...

They will, however, be appearing in Monster Crunch: The Breakfast Battle Game, also available in stores right now.

Found 'em today while buying groceries at the nearest Walmart! Nice to be able to grab some so early in the year after the hellish ordeal I had trying to find any last year.

Sadly... while I have seen them in multiple stores I am on a Diet, so... this is a touchy issue for me.

I stocked up a day or two after Halloween. My local meijer had the family sized boxes on clearance for about $1.20 each, and I picked up 10 of them! (and I already had a couple in the house already)

They don't expire for several months, so I'll be set for a while.

My local Meijer had been stocking the regular sized boxes for the past month or two. Then like a week or so ago, I was there, and for whatever reason they had discounted them all for clearance at $1-something each. I went ahead and stocked up on Count Chocula. I thought it was odd that they were clearancing them out before halloween. But then when I was there a few days later, I see that they got the family sized boxes in stock now, so I guess they got rid of the smaller ones to make room for the bigger ones. LOL

I got a nice discount, so I'm fine with that.

I saw these in Target. Oddly enough I never had them in childhood and I would not eat them now (I try to eat clean). I remember the commercials though and it is fun to see them on shelves. Did they change the recipes like they did with Lucky Charms or keep them the same?!?

Oops, I should have kept reading. Yeah years ago I tried to eat Lucky Charms (we are talking more than a decade) and they were gross. Vitamin fortified? LOL!

Never had these cereals in Ireland. Although a couple places sell some American cereals like Lucky Charms and Fruity Pebbles. Very sugary...they are are okay.

I recently shared a photo of my Monster Cereals shirt on Instagram.

I will also be sharing a photo of my Boo Berry shirt soon.

I'm usually posting 1980s stuff (and Muppet/Disney memorabilia), but have gone "all Halloween" for this month, lol.

Am I the only one who live in Asia jealous about not getting Count Chocula? I've talked to my friends in discord and I really really need that chocolate cereal to enjoy on... Oh, we have General Mills cereal but not Monster Cereals sadly.

My Target just got them in and I bought a ton. There's nothing like going through the check outs with 20 boxes of monster cereals and seeing the look on the cashier's face. The cashier, who was probably 18 years old at the most, made a comment about how her parents told her how they used to eat these cereals when they were kids. She made my 40+ year old butt feel like it was 70. I can't wait to make my patent Count Chocula breaded chicken. Yum!

Last year I tried to wait till after the holiday to score some but by then they were all sold out of Frankenberry.

It has been sad since we found out that my daughter can’t have artificial food coloring any longer, but I might have to sneak some of thes at night after the kids are in bed so she doesn’t get jealous.
