Do you want the vintage figures with a resealable packaging?

The non resealable packaging of the ultimates was a real bummer, what do you think about a clamshell for the vintage figures that are coming?
It will protect the card back and it will give you options!
Or do you prefer a strictly vintage packaging?
Just imagine something like the Star Wars jumbo figures.

Where, of course, there is the classic shape of the vintage MOTU bubble but it's part of the clamshell and not glued to the cardback and then there are 2 quality seals on every side so you can know if it's mint on card or it has been played with or displayed.
What do you think? Please be vocal, MOC collectors, loose collectors and in&out collectors, we can be all satisfied!

I think resealable packaging would be the way to go. I don't know if I'll be getting any of these or not, but I would want it to be.

If I buy something on the secondary market, I like to know for a fact that it hasn't been played with or displayed and not just take some random seller's word for it.

What about if it came with a quality seal? Once you open the box it will be broken, but you can still protect the cardboard and you can still bounce between sealed and displayed.

If we had to have resealable packaging that would make it slightly more acceptable to me. Still not my preferred packaging though. But would those who want resealable packaging be okay with a ruined or obviously tampered with box/card because of the quality seal?

You have to imagine somethin' like Star Wars jumbo figure, I'll update the first post to clarify it to everybody.

I understand the whole "mint on card" thing, but, when you think about it, putting it in a resealable package, while allowing the figures to be handled and put back, could reduce the number of figures being sold, just because you have the people who want the carded figure as well as one to open. I liked the vintage style of the ultimates figures, but hated that they were sealed in the blister, and I'd have to destroy it to open them. I would have preferred that the blister have been like a clamshell with the card inside with the figure.

You could totally make a clamshell case with the blister and card inside with the figure, with a welded point that's perforated, that could be punched out to open it, which would alert anyone that the package was opened, but still allow you to replace the figure and card and re-close the clamshell for display, without ruining the card.

I really would be interested in seeing Super7 move towards Resealable packaging on most of their releases. Club Grayskull is excellent with this! I wish they were doing it for the ReAction lines like The Worst as well. Most lines have moved towards this: Hasbro's Star Wars: The Black Series and Marvel Legends, Mattel's WWE Elite and DC Multiverse, Bossfight studios' releases, Mezco: One:12 Collective, most NECA releases, Funko POPs and Dorbz, anything in the 1/6th scale, anything imported typically (MAFEX, Figma, Good Smile Company, S.H. Figuarts), most McFarlane lines, and Mythic Legions. It's the current status quo and, unless your item is mass produced retail fare, no one has any excuse to not move in that direction.
