Like that it would be easy to limit them at something like 200 pcs each worldwide and the cost is largely less than for a plastic figure.
A blister is not necessary also, a simple white box written "Lords of Power prototype" or something like that is just great, in the same spirit than the S7 test shot SDCC 2015 3.75in figures set.
Just need the illusion to have real prototypes in hands, no more
Oh I'd be totally cool with that!

This is the writeup I did on it last month:

I wonder if the "Power Lords" toyline's name from Revell year 1983 was intentional or not

Likewise. Perhaps it had something to do with it?

PSA: Get those Power Lords preorders in folks! PL 2.0 looks to be much improved--better articulation all around. It all ends tomorrow!

I see the appeal of these as 5.5" toys and suport the idea, but my preference would be for a Classics release. Seaweed Trunks Mer-Man has been discussed as one for the Classics wishlist before. And that Skeletor would look great as a Classics figure.

I would definitely be interested in these, and I would be fine with them as unarticulated figurines. I'd prefer them to be in 3 or 4 inch scale so they are somewhat different from any other MOTU figures.

I'm almost never here anymore, but I gotta say, if this line ever happened, it'd be the only thing of MotU I'd ever collect again. It'd be a small run, but I'd want everything.

They're plenty different, beastman is totally different, Heman and skeletor have larger muscles..skeletor has a decaying zombie face...this is so up Super 7s alley especially since they really took off with those Alien prototypes...this is the perfect project...anyone know how to contact Brian flynn??

It seems like Mattel is actually making these as a 5-pack Power-Con Exclusive this year.

just saw that but judging by the silhouettes...theyre gonna be articulated like the origins series and will probably suck! Mattel is pretty out of touch with MOTU fandom ever since Scott left matty years ago! while I like the origins line..he-mans head looks cheaper than the original 38 years ago...looks like a foreign bootleg..not to mention the weird leg joints. I hope they look better on release. I also hope these lords of power come out good.

Most wanted Origins figures: Mighty Spector, Fisto's Cousin's Babysitter, and Mer-Man's Seventh Grade Crush.
