You know, Gbagok, these would be amazing if they were used on box art for MOTUC figures. It would also be really awesome if this style was used in an animated reboot series.

I like the new additions. Mer-Man and King Miro are particularly cool!

I even voted for her, but it wasn't until seeing Queen Balina realized here that I knew how much I wanted her!

Also, the rest of these are--as they always are--exquisite!

    Hey Gbagok,

These are truly amazing - here's hoping Super 7 keeps a close eye on this thread.

Will you be putting Helios, Hunga, Lady Slither and Illumina on the same background as the others?

Really appreciate your love for all things MOTU and your astounding artistic ability!

Trying something different, seeing if this works. I wanted to get in this idea for Saryn as well, so long as she's up in Round 5!

Thank you for these Gbagok. They're great!

I love the modern DC Comics representation of Saryn. It was also really cool of you to put in Blackstar among the He-Man characters. He looks like he could fit into that world.

I love Draego-Man and Frosta among the newest additions. Love the Filmation vibe for Frosta. She's really beautiful here.

    Some requests from m
e: Man-at-Arms, Teela, Stratos, Zodac, Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw, King Grayskull and He-Ro.

Oh man thank you Gbagok! These new additions are awesome.

Really dig Garn and Teela is really gorgeous. Slamurai is also uber-cool.

Gbagok, I absolutely adore your concept art.

However, I have to point out that the terms "Samurai" and "Ronin" do not apply to Ninja. You're conflating two completely different things, which just happen to originate from the same country. I don't know if the name and tagline were your idea, and I mean no offence, but please change it. As a huge fan of Japanese culture, it makes me cringe so hard everytime I see it.

My thinking was that Slamurai has become masterless, and that he's now dressed as a ninja as a mark of personal shame. It's just one idea though, nothing official.

Well, except this is Eternia. It's derivative and doesn't need to strictly adhere to what's defined in any culture of Earth.

Besides, we don't even know his story. It's also just a toy with a gimmick name. It's like when LEGO fans got up in arms about the story concepts in Ninjago that were based around misconceptions and stereotypes of ninjas. But it's just a fun toy concept. It's not meant to be a historical account of what happened here on Earth.
Hope to see you at Power-Con 2023, America's Mightiest Toy Convention!

I just got back from Japan (again) a month ago and am a huge fan of Japanese culture... I have been my whole life.
I feel that "Slamurai" is just that, a bunch of Japanese awesome "slammed" together to make a "pop culture" item from the 80's, it's all good fun and should be exactly that!

    My 500 yen's worth.
