The Toyguru stuff ended long ago.

I gather these will be new. Some have - in a way - found their way onto the Character Guide from Dark Horse (as facet pointed out too).

Exactly what I'm thinking. This is great news. I have a binder with the cardbacks & bios & inserts. I'd love to print out and add the bios. Though they can be messy and challenging to accept sometimes, I love the MOTUC Bios and am super happy to have them return for those missing.

I love it, especially the references to Melaktha, Count Marzo and especially Eldor. I've already added the official bio to my very-unofficial MOTUC figure encyclopedia.

Great to finally see a bio for Lord Masque

I like the reference to Eldor.
It was mentioned in the interview that they are doing Bios for some of the artifacts. I would love to see one for the demon mask.

Good job Wakko, I like it.
Coming straight out of Preternia, tribal chieftess and the original WARRIOR GODDESS, SHARELLA!!!

Sharella needs her day in Classics. She is the only remaining vintage POG character that needs a figure.
    Support Sharella for Collectors Choice!

My top 5 wants for MOTUC: Sharella, Hunga the Harpy, Sagitar, Snake Goddess & Red Beast

    Doesn't the single-carded Horde Trooper rate a Bio? [^)

In Two weeks, on Masters Monday the 26th! :^D

So glad to see Lord Masque get his moment in the spotlight. Er, Bad choice of term LoL.

Like most all of the awesome! "New Era" Bios that we've seen thus far, it cozily links one distant and unexpected corner of the vast character landscape to another.

    *Bam!* Count Marzo!

    *Bam!* Eldor!

A groovy Two-fer! But I wonder-- WHAT was Masque BEFORE he stole the Demon Mask?? *shudder!*

Yes, who was he? And what became of him after He-Man destroyed his mask? The bio is incomplete.

You mean there is more written about Lord Masque than what was posted in his bio?

The one thing that I find awkward about that bio is the order the events are listed. First we get basically a summary of the Filmation two-parter, than we learn about what Masque did before (teaching Marzo) and get his origin (stole the mask from Eldor) last. That's not really how a biography works.

Maybe! I was only saying there can always been more story about a character later on.

Where is it written that a character bio on a toy has to have events written in chronological order?

Would the phrase "Keep Reading The Bios!" be of any help here?

    I didn't think so. [^D

Your mileage my vary, but, in the absence of a definitive answer to a question like Lord Masque's obscure origins (or, for that matter, his continued existence after the destruction of the Demon Mask!??), my little mind fairly bubbles over with filling in the blanks!

Was he some feckless desert nomad, who was rescued from death by a traveling Eldor, who wound up consumed by a hellish power he couldn't possibly comprehend (a la Nepthu, but more permanent)??

Or-- was he some ancient nobleman or prince, who was seduced and corrupted by Shokoti's otherworldly erotic power, who gained Eldor's trust, and ultimately betrayed him, becoming a willing human sacrifice to his mistress' whim, joining her forever in the insanity of her darkness??

It's all fair game at this point!

Then, my own personal "Fan Fic" stands, until such time as anything that contradicts what I've established is revealed.

For instance, I've had a long-standing "Fan Theory" about Dylamug lo-o-o-o these many moons, that never even once considered the planet Robotika. But, now that his past as an ambassador droid has come to light, I find that my story can still work (with a little tweaking) within the framework of what we now know. And I like it even more now! >:^D

As someone famous once said: "I like to speculate on such things-- it makes history come alive!"

Most definitely. Everyone is free to speculate about the details or direction of a story in any way they choose, and create any possible story they want to fill in the blanks.

Love this bio, it has a nice summary of the characters episode as well as some intrigue and mystery added for fun! He is from pre-eternia! Stealing the mask from Eldor! And he taught Marzo! We get some world building for other characters as well in this bio. Fantastic can't wait til next week!

This is not some novel that is written in non-chronological order for dramatic reason. It is a bio that is supposed to give us on overview over the characters life up to some chosen point.
But I think what actually bothers me is that we get a summary of the Filmation storyline and the new info is tacked on like an afterthought instead of worked into the narrative.
It is still a lot better than Plundor's bio back then. That was only a summary of his episode.

I'm really happy that we're finally getting to see the bios that we originally missed out on.
I have finally returned from Despondos.
