I wonder if when first on Beast Island he was green, like he appeared on the filmation episode, then when thrown in the experimentation matrix, transformed into what he is. One small detail i would like to see explored. So could we assume Battle bones is Rio's Steed......

Really still put off that we never got Mantisaur in Classics. Everyone else got their steed but not Hordak. Fun bio though!

Oh this definitely implies that Mantisaur was his organic green filmation version before he was altered In the experimentation matrix.

But it doesn't say Battle Bones is exclusively Rio Blasts. I'm sure ol' Bonsey helps transport whoever needs him.

I'm excited too. It's the most ambitious and unified lore in MOTU, and keeps Classics alive in story form at least for now. I'm hoping Mattel has some plans for Classics since they've given permission for the bios to continue after a lengthy pause...

I'd rather they just make the figures these are about and print them on the back of the card...but I guess I'll take the bios for free without the figures, if that's the only option...
