Hello, my name is Rod, and I've visited He-Man.org for years, but never really registered and posted, mostly using the site to get my MotU news.
I've been a fan and collector since 1984. I have kept all my childhood MotU figures, but am not trying to complete that collection. I did recently buy a vintage Snake Mountain, though.
But I'm instead of completing the vintage, buying the Classics line instead. I'm a big fan of the Filmation cartoon, and also of the 200X toon, although I prefer the traditional character design of the classic Filmation series. I'm a big fan of fully rendered animation, as well.
I'm fully bilingual and hang out in the Spanish forums as well, and this is how I met David Sullyvan, author of the Unofficial MotuC Collectors Guide. I got a hold of his European edition, corrected a few mistakes, improved the English section, and translated a few pages that were only in Spanish, into English. We've worked out a deal to make his guide available to the US and Canada at a similar price point to its European cost. More details can be found in the Marketplace section for classics (and if you're curious about the guide, don't hesitate to send me a message). David did some really great, quality work on a big, full-color guide to the line, which any collector and dealer will love.
Anyway, enough about me. Glad to be here and finally getting to post.
