You can remove the flocking with warm water and a toothpick. They are painted underneath.

Oooo...warm water! That makes sense. I did micro-surgery with the tip of box cutter and managed pretty well...but it did take awhile. At least with Battle-Cat I didn't need to worry about the eyes!

You know you can buy an unflocked version of TLS Panthor, right?

Yeah...it wasn't great. I didn't really look closely until I got them home but...a bit of work and now they look perfect.

Sorry for the bump, but I just saw these for the first time at my local Target tonight. And what's weird is that half of the case had empty boxes in them. None of the smaller boxes at all looked tampered with, so I'm wondering what this is. I didn't really go through to see what characters were still there and which ones were missing, but there were at least 4 small boxes that were just "empty"

Anyone know what could be going on?

Do you mean the boxes with the black windows? Those are blind boxes. They can include regular figures as well as chase figures. Lots of current TLS lines are done that way - 12 boxes per case, 4 of them with black windows.
