It looks to me like zombie Megator, but that doesn't make much sense. LOL.

Alex has stated it is Megator in his decaying form.

Well zombie Megator has connection to Hordak in Classics.

An Eternian giant in service to Hordak®, Megator™ led Hordak’s troops in battle during the Great Wars. He was recruited to help booster the Horde’s ranks after Tytus™ and several other giants from the Mountains of Perpetua allied themselves with King Grayskull™. Megator™ was killed during the First Ultimate Battleground, caught in the iron jaws of Central Tower when the Three Towers were enchanted to sink into Sub-Ternia™. His remains were discovered millennia later by King Hssss™ who magically reanimated him into a mindless zombie. He served King Hssss™ and fought against Hordak® and the Masters of the Universe® in the Second Ultimate Battleground – once again dying on the battlefield.

    Jukka nailed it!

If he ended up being used against the Horde, it makes sense that Hordak would jail his butt.. even though he died again, despite being a zombie.

Including Magator in his decayed form there was completely intentional to give continuity to the character! He fought against Hordak and the Masters of the Universe in the Second Ultimate Battleground, once again dying on the battlefield. Then, maybe he could have been reborn once more by The Horde and kept in the Fright Zone dungeon, just in case The Horde needs him once more time. I don't agree with the unnecessary deaths of characters. Even in Spector's "death" in minicomic #7, "I took part" to leave the door open to the idea that perhaps he didn't die, and was only teleported wounded to another time

Amazing artwork as always. The angle reminds me of the old Norem one from the 80's magazine.

It's strange to to see the Horde Wraiths with all these vintage characters, especially the likes of Catra.

Besides the ones already mentioned missing
    Calix
    Cy-Chop
    Horde Prime
    Wrap Trap

    also not present:
General Sunder (and the Horde Trooper variant heads he came packed with)
    Despara

Anyone else made into a figure not represented?

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:36-40).

I keep seeing folks mention Horde Prime. But I'm curious... since the posters make Hordak a big focal point as the "big bad" under whom the Evil Horde is placed... why add Horde Prime too? Cause then you'd need to force maybe the sky behind Hordak with looming eyes of HP, that would look distracting.
Or another choise make HP the big bad that he is. And Hordak would be standing as little guy next to others. Either option doesn't sound appealing just for the sake of Horde Prime.

Bahhh. This is a poster filled with bad guys. Its almost like a recruitment ad for them. Heh.

Why would you want turncoats and traitors to the Horde shown?

Well, it would have been cool to see the entire cast of Evil Horde characters released in MOTUC figure form in one poster. No need to overthink it. If anyone could have done it, Axel could have. I completely understand his response though that he was given a list of characters to include and some didn’t make the cut. Perhaps one day he’ll have an opportunity to include them.

Hey Jukka, your answers are always accurate and clarifying. Thank you good friend.

And let me add something more. Although in the poster appear some from Filmation, such as Shadow Weaver, Scorpia, Vultak, Colonel Blast, and Imp, the image was based on the concept of the vintage line, and with the style of the figures of the Classics line in the majority of the cases. It was never thought to show each and every one of the characters from the different versions of The Horde. By the way, although I don't like to impose my vision or preferences on everything, in some cases I am given the creative freedom to decide the concept of illustrations. In the case of The Horde, that means that Hordak is the supreme leader. The same if I had the chance to decide about a piece in this style for The Snake Men. I wouldn't do The Unnamed One over all of them. King Hssss would be the leader. As in most cases, it is impossible to satisfy everyone. Even so, it was thought to make this poster with two variants so that, both the fans of the concepts and toys, as those of Filmation, feel somehow corresponded.

Man, these posters look amazing. I just can't justify spending that kind of money on them.
