Poor Man-at-arms, doesn't get to take a break.

I can't help but wonder if this Attak Trak will be based completely off the 80's toy version, OR will it be based off the Monogram model version, OR will it be a mixture of both??![]()
I do have both available for reference. I would say 90% original toy, with a little influence from the monogram kit. The monogram kit has some cool details, but the 80's toy is what I wanted to recreate. If you're curious as to what Man-at-arms is holding, all you need to do is look at the original sticker sheetI will add, I did take some influence from the Rudy Obrero box art for something. Its definitely not a matter of enlarging the 80's toy, but maintaining the overall shape and proportions, increasing the level of detail, and adding some additional details.

Interesting this last piece… it's different from the vintage version!
This is what it supposed to be modeled from.

Oh, sure!!! In the back!
I don't recognize it because my old Attak Trak doesn't have all the stickers!!!
I confused it with the top sticker, the one with ax and spear!
I have that sticker modeled too. The only issue I had with that piece was the original art was a bit amorphous and hard to distinguish exactly what was going on with the demon head in the top center. I had to take some liberties with the art, but the ax and spear came out pretty good.

DAMN, this gets more and more impressive as it goes along..!
Leech sucks..!
Looking for input, I added a detail that wasn't on the original toy, I did take a detail from the Castle Greyskull weapons rack. Does this look out of place?pistol.jpgattack detail.png

Can't wait to see more of this.![]()

Its easy to change. That spot looked bare, trying to brainstorm what I could add in that area to give it some character. Any ideas or suggestions, like gauges, panels, devices that would work that I could add to that area?

Dont have a toy near me atm. Was originally thinking gauges like yourself, but by memory, isn't that panel a little far for the driver to reach?
Maybe some viewscreens showing left, right and rear views or sonar or gps. Something to look at but doesnt need to be reached. Or, if above the engine, some heat/cooling vents.
Or maybe just a new sticker. Based on existing designs or incorporating other MOTU references, like the Grayskull flag.
track detail.png How about something like this?

It's a little out of reach for that, although I do have the Computer screen and buttons on the steering section. steering.png
Ah yeah I see. In that case it might be cool to add a vent or two..

2 vents and 2 control panelsTook a little inspiration from the Battle Ram and a few panels that appear on it. steering2.png
