Hello from the Azores Islands!

Hello, everyone!

My name is Carlos, I'm 39 years old (40 tomorrow!) and I live on the island of S. Miguel, in the Azores Islands. All those interested, please follow this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azores.

I had my first Master of the Universe (it was Skeletor! ) in 1985. I was then 7 years old and it was love at first sight.

I then regularly got more figures over the next few years and I'm proud to say that I still have them all today. It's not a huge collection by any means (I have 40 pieces, including play sets and vehicles), but it means a lot to me.

Even before I even knew a cartoon show existed, I got the sticker album, which I completed. One fine day, which I remember distinctly, I was coming home from school and I had some sticker packs to open. I went inside and I turned on the TV and an episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was just starting! Try to picture a young boy, living on an island which only had ONE TV channel, and he was lucky enough to watch his first ever episode of a franchise he already knew and loved. This only caused my love to grow even more.

Nowadays, my 11-year-old son is already a He-Man fan. Maybe not as much as his father, but a fan nonetheless. I watch old episodes with him from time to time, we play "Tappers of Grayskull" on our phones and we fixed some of my old figures' broken legs together.

I'm very happy to join this community and I hope I can share many memories, old and new, with all of you.
