Club NA 10 "The Festival of Lights"

Love the party idea around a solar eclipse type event.

"That's a beautiful way to put it....Someone should write it down"

Slushhead is turning into a favorite for me, such a great character! He's a big softie.

Was nice to see the two ships flying near each other to see the size difference between the two.

It's Goro!!! Nice to see an episode with Sagitar, looks badass.

He-Man going for his sword was perfect with it not being there. The cowboy crushing on Drissi is spot on.

Really enjoy the character design of all the patrons of the space rodeo, spotted an E.T. lookalike

I love Flogg taking shots at Skeletor, bahaha.

    Yes! The scientists return!

Haha don't worry about his sullen mood, take a walk with Adam instead!

Perfect writing to have Staghorn taking care of the animals.

He-Man riding Sagitar into battle was ingenious.

Perfect moral about drinking water/liquids when it's hot out since New York is in the middle of a heat wave!

Overall, a really fun episode centered around the solar eclipse. I liked seeing Drissi using her powers a few times during the episode. I also liked the two tries that Skeletor tried to defeat He-Man. Great job Jack!

Thanks for that. A fun episode to have written.

Thanks, too, for bringing back a lot of great memories for me with your NA Watching thread.

OK, I have some time before the fireworks tonight, so I figured it would be appropriate. I mean, holiday-festival, lights-fireworks... anyway...

    Starting now...

    - He-Man's voice sounds older. I never noticed that before. I mean older then Filmation. Maybe He-Man is more mature now
    - Why is it strange to celebrate eclipse, Adam? I saw it once and it was pretty amazing.
    - "Mutants like to have fun too!"
    - Love all those weird aliens on Weststar.
    - Not sure animals enjoy performing, but sure...
    - Whoa, Drissi just took He-Man away from Mara.
    - Sucks for those people sitting behind Sagitar...
    - As weird as it is to see He-Man struggling with a bull, it's always good to see heightened stakes. Love the scene of HM breathing heavily.
    - Roll and superhero landing. 10 for artistic merit, He-Man
    - LOVE the variety of characters included in this episode! Both good and evil.
    - Some of the good guys really didn't put up much of a fight...
    - OK, now they're fighting!
    - He-Man's "You owe me nothing!" sounded kinda rude
    - Drink some water kids! Especially in July!

Well, that was fun. I'll remember to pack some water for the fireworks tonight!

I patterned Drissi after my at-the-time wife, eventually ex.

"Their relationship was not entirely... successful."
