    Old School Fan and Lurker

    Hello All,

I've been popping in and out of here over the years as a long time collector of everything vintage MOTU and MOTU Commemorative. A few years ago I moved across the country and had to leave my stuff behind with my parents. Now they are selling the family home, so we're working to liquidate what I simply cannot bring out west with me / what I've brought out already but need to clear out to make room for the things coming.

I'll be taking the steps to join the merchandise forum. At the moment, I've been selling small lots of weapons and extra Eternia parts that fit in my suitcase on eBay (including monorail arms that have never been unbagged). I've bagged and sorted the MOTU collection my brother and I co-collected as kids a few weeks ago, and he's going to be selling them on his eBay account. I brought home about 25 of my favorite heroic warriors and nefarious villains to restore and put in my personal collection, but my brother was left with about 40 figures that are complete with weapons -- many of which are the figures I had no sentimental attachment to from the end of the line (seriously, Blast Attak is interesting, but I just don't care about him or Saurod). We've also got an Eternia playset that is 90+% complete that we're trying to decide what to do with. (Only things it is missing at last check: spaceship wheels, one grappling hook, blue-trap-door mechanism for monorail, two Viper Tower chains, and while all of the monorail track is present, some of it is broken, because we looked at it funny and it shattered from the stress).

This website and the forum discussions in it have been an invaluable source for figuring out "which of these two guns ACTUALLY goes with Kobra Khan vs. Zodac...and which He-Man axe from which country goes with which loose figure, and holy freaking god HOW MANY WEAPONS CAME WITH THIS ETERNIA PLAYSET!!? It took three days of sitting on my childhood bedroom floor surrounded by boxes and bags of weapons, but I couldn't have figured it out beyond my memory without this community's help!

I'll be in the marketplace forums soon. A number of the things we have I would really prefer went to a good home where they'll be appreciated, rather than to the random antique sellers buying working Eternia motors from me on eBay (though their money is still good, too).
