Yeah, I noticed that too. I was thinking the colored pieces are separate and have to be snapped into place, and that whoever assembled this one just popped the wolf on the wrong way.

I have no idea where I’m putting this. But I don’t care, it’s a problem I want. This is the most epic, awesome and grail worthy toy that has ever been made. Any word on when we will see any art for the box?

Can we see a figure on the test shot? The scale seems off.

The Righthand side (bird Face) seems a lot more compressed, the wolf head (microphone) looks the same scale as the proto...but that side of the facade is seemingly a lot smaller.

I'm still concerned about the demon mouth. I'd feel much better about it being a moveable piece if it had been cast in a different color. I understand that it could be in the same mold as other black pieces but it's tough to see a joint or seam.

In this view from behind the bird face side looks wider I think:

They said during the pre-order period that the tooling would end up shrinking the final product vs the prototype's size.

Yeah, I think the image angles are throwing off the perspective... the image in question regarding the smaller "bird face" side also makes it look like the ledges all angle down such that a figure would slide forward off of them as opposed to stand on them. (You guys consider that a bird face? I've honestly never viewed it that way... think of it as simple a demon or monster face!)
Also, there IS a fabric net viewable on the inside hanging from underneath the trap door platform!

I see what you're saying, it definitely looks that way in the picture, butt it could look that way in the picture of a number of reasons not related to shrinking in size - picture angle and lens distortion being the most obvious. So we'll have to see dimensions next to a tape measure or something.

That being said, even if it did shrink, I don't have a problem with that, I expected it to shrink a bit from the prototype as they figured out how to actually physically mass produce it, much like how Grayskull shrunk.

Yeah Ive NEVER thought of it as a bird either, but Ive seen others call it that so figured Id use it as a point of reference...seriously I dont ever wanna meet that 'Bird'

Maybe S7 could show us the test shot next to the proto so we can see how its shaping up...Or maybe just the measurements of the Test shot.

Hopefully the demon face on the gate is a separate piece…since it's upside down.

Haha cool he addressed the wolf head…
And he DID say the beginning of next year as a "shipping date" so that should clear the air on that as well.

Yeah I had to widen my attic access for Grayskull. I suspect I'll have to reframe it again for this beast.

If it comes earlier than May I'll be surprised.

I sincerely hope so. I didn't not expect it so "early", I mean late spring would be ideal for my poor finances, not ready damn

This thing of beauty needs to be in my MOTUC collection, I mean I have CG for display right now and geeeez! just a masterpiece even more with all the figures and he-man holdin off the sword in front of the beautiful (neca) door. And I paid that for a reasonable 250-300$, bummed Snake Mountain costs that much, I can't buy 2 copies at all this way

And by the way it's not that huge, c'mon I usually display only 1 side, and this will be little more higher than Castle Grayskull by front, not a tragedy after all, think I have found space for it

Looking forward to having Fed Ex deliver Snake Mountain. The test shots look fantastic I can't wait to put my Super7 Filmation Skeletor on his Bone throne.

    Amen!

When Classics Grayskull came out I grabbed a vintage SM with box from NYC Comic Con. I didn't think we'd ever see a Classticized SM and settled for the vintage. After I put my preorder in I sold off the vintage SM. I don't collect vintage MotU. I'm starting to get very excited. My little brother got SM for Christmas in 1984. I was aging out of the brand but we had a good time playing with the set that December morning. Good times.

Did he say the different colored plastics are for individual pieces to see how they fit together? In other words, does the jaw move like in the description, or not?

My question is, what contest do I have to enter to try to win one of these test shots... I mean, surely they don't need all of them from multiple rounds just lying around their offices

i see a few people mentioning FedEx as the shipper...is this confirmed? They've been terrible with all my packages forever...even marking things as delivered when they're simply near my area to "save time"

This is a big package and limited stock so it makes me worried. I had massive anxiety when I was waiting on the star wars haslab sail barge to arrive earlier this year and I imagine it'l be an identical feeling for this
