Thanks for posting! Got my order in. I depend on this forum to let me know when Mega Construx are available to order. Especially with Mattel never actually announcing anything and then seemingly shipping a tiny amount at a time.
I fear for this forum going down again soon for "weeks".
I ordered two of the five packs on Feb 15th from Amazon, and still no shipping notification. Should I be worried? I plan on contacting them, but life is insane right now so it's hard to find the time.

I got my Battle for Eternia II set today from deep discount
Saw this unfortunate news posted over on the Mega subreddit:

That post today must have caused a scalper rush and now DD removed their listing for it entirely. A friend from here might be able to get me one though. Just in case, I placed a backup backorder with DD last week and sure enough I just got cancellation notice. Bummer! Good luck folks.
I luckily got my set in from Deep Discount today too. Although, they crammed it into a box that was too small and bent the top of the cardback. It didn't crease it though, so it looks like it's straightening out under some books. I really wish I had ordered two, especially with the news of its scarcity... plus, Orko and whiplash really want to be freed from the package! Good luck to those that are still on the hunt!
So what are the odds that Mega MotU is finished?
VS the odds that they will never produce another figure pack or an Advent Calendar, but there will be more vehicle/playset builds?
From what I keep hearing from different "toy sources" that advent calendars in general don't sell very well anymore across the industry, but that doesn't mean automatically figure-based ACs are in the same situation. Sadly the big retailers (even the e-commerce retailers) normally dictate the demand, and not particularly the consumer. Figure packs like this BFE2 could be categorized as such!?
As for the regular MOTU MEGA line, it seems like it's either on hiatus (taking a little break) or dead for now, and if we don't see any new announcements by the summer time (SDCC or PC) of this year, I'm guessing it's the later outcome. (I hope I'm wrong though)
Creativity is addictive.
I think we'll continue to see sets, but I think figure packs are unlikely.
Even the last few sets of Halo figures have had trouble finding retail outlets because Walmart dropped them completely and Target dropped the Heroes line but kept the blind bags. People seem to be finding them most often at Kroger and CVS.
They just announced the Power Sword, so I'm not worried about the line ending... yet.
Ugh. The Power Sword counting as a release does nothing but push getting more figures farther into the future, giving them more time to cancel it altogether.
And yeah, I get that they'd say we can't have a 805-piece Fright Zone instead of a dust collector with no figures because each Horde character they included besides another Hordak would require new tooling, while blocks don't.
Oh boy, that's not good for the future of this line.
Meh. I like this line and have collected quite a bit of it, but there's such an overwhelming amount of MOTU product coming out that it's very hard for me to get upset if Mega is done.
