I just want to take a quick minute to thank everyone who has supported this book and beyond that, all the fans that have kept the franchise alive so I could even be a part of it all these years later! THANKS!

    I got the books today!

I have to say, I absolutely LOVE these little golden treasures!! So many memories came flooding back to me from my wee years!

Great stories and incredible artwork! (Some of the very best LGB art!!)

There is a fantastic close-up of Bow in the She-Ra book, and keep an eye out for all of the wonderful cameos!

These are worth so much more than the asking price because they bring me back to a wonderful time in my life and allow me a perfect way to introduce my little nephew to the world of He-Man and She-Ra! A++

Adora and I read the POP one last night. The art is great, and I LOVE that all of them are vintage styled.

I came across the preorder awhile back. The only reason I got these was due to the fact that the art l, though it may be a bit fun and childish, but it still remained he man. I absolutely hate when an artist decides to reinvent the wheel as we see happen all the time.

I received my order today. I ordered two of each. One set is for me (of course ), and the other set is for my goddaughter, who is a little over 2 1/2 years old.

I just read through them. They are very nice! Obviously short, like any other Little Golden Book, but overall they are very true to the source material. I'm hoping my goddaughter likes them a lot. If she does, I may be able to get her interested in watching the old cartoons at some point.

I got mine yesterday and I must admit that I absolutely love the artwork and all of the different characters that are in both of the books. They are also Filmation accurate and so much fun! And for the price who wouldn't want these!

I could definitely see a series of animated shorts using this art style.

I'd buy em. We might see more with the push of the movie on the horizon.

If it is the dude with the gold helmet and beard, I 2nd that question. I have NO clue who he is and from what media he hails from?

Also since Hunga the Harpy is in the She-Ra book, will that help us get her in Classics? Don't care if it is CG or CC, I just want a figure of her finally.

I don't have my copies of these amazing looking books yet, so I'm only guessing, but could the character be Kol-Darr from the Classic MOTU episode Double Trouble (a title that has nothing to do with the POP character). Does he have horns on the gold helmet and what colour is his beard?

No not him. I always thought his name was goldar lol. Nah he kind of reminds me of that marvel character Hercules.

Though, these books are heavily inspired by the filmation cartoon. Half the he man book is the introduction on the cartoon introduction. In which I loved, I loved so much about these books just because all the Easter eggs and nods and the iconic feel of what he man was to us and is and for most will always be. Not some new rendition of something old. These books in ways speak to the 80s kids. Also, these books after reading them left me to believe there will be a series. These were getting the feet wet with the characters, next should be some stories. I'm totally against the talentless art of today's kids crap, but since these books showed that the iconic things weren't changed but just dumbed down, I was game to support.

These books are the epitome of putting on the modern approach to an icon. Sad, that this approach never happens with movies or new cartoons.

Actually no idea why I thought it looked like Hercules. I guess in a way it resembles koldar.

We got our Golden Books yesterday and I had to pay the post man for the shipping. That was odd as I pre-ordered them through Amazon. The kids read them immediately and love them. The art work is cute too!

    What did your nephew think?!

MY girls and I got and read ours late last week... LOVE these! (I think the art style is unique from any other MOTU art we've gotten, and fits well.) Hoping for more!

The She-Ra book seems to go a little "deeper" and offer a bit more substance than the He-Man one, but they are both a delight! I felt like a kid again reading them with my kids!
