I personally don't like the art style of the new cartoon, it feels rushed or even fanmade like. 30 years have past after the original She-Ra cartoon, yet does the new version feels less detailed, especially the settings and surroundings/backgrounds.
It really does make you appreciate the filmation cartoon even more.
I have nothing against the "*** agenda" some people talk about, I just don't like the art of the cartoon.
Yeah, but there's nothing we can do about this art style. It's decided, nobody asked us. It's definitely not the show where you press pause to enjoy what you see on screen.

I have to confess I did exactly that...several times.

To be completely honest I took a couple of screenshots, but it's nothing comparing to how many screenshots I took with original show.

    I noticed this too.

She-Ra and Frosta are the only ones with zero votes...

With Frosta, I can totally understand... she was an awesome character in the original show; powerful, beautiful, great costume design/hair, and she even made He-Man a bit uncomfortable, lol! But, her new design is simply terrible. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the episode, but of all the changes that were made, her being an 11 year old brat just took me by surprise... especially because vintage Frosta is one of my favorite PoP characters.

As for She-Ra? For me, there is no way in **** that this new version will ever hold a candle to the original. And, beyond that, I think that there were some bad design choices made for the main protagonist. The tiara is goofy, the sword is way too clunky, the bike-shorts don't look good at all, and her boots look like knock-off UGGs. I actually like Adora's design though...

OMG, the ship burning thing. Everyone else is annoyed by it, but that seriously made my whole family laugh so hard.

The ship burning thing reminds me of Seamus with his proclivity to pyrotechnics in the Harry Potter books/movies.

I love so many of them (most of them) so much it's very hard to pick...but that being said I immediately knew I had to vote Spinnerella. Glimmer is my favourite character in the show, and so many look really great and cool and unique.

But I gotta give it to Spinnerella, I just love what they did and are showing on this show. Now if only she could get some development and screentime. At the time of writing this I think I have one episode left to watch, but I'd like to see more of her and Netossa.

For what it's worth the question was about my favourite, not the best. I think a bunch of them are better new designs, but "best" and "favourite" are not the same thing.

Bonus points to Spinnerella for being adorably chubby in a way that I'm so, so glad the show went with! Cartoons-in-general need more cute fat girls. She looks an awful lot like my fiancee!
Scorpia is definitively (well, quite possibly) the best redesign actually. Not my favourite, but the best.

My favourite is Spinnerella, for precisely the reasons you name.

IMP had the best redesign. So much so that i think he looks BETTER.
I love his empty eyes, and his lil spider crawling self.
    I want an Imp now!
Crap. You're basically right. Imps redesign is great. He's not really a character (yet) so I wouldnt choose him (more of a pet) but I cannot deny that his is one of the best.

I think She Ra-Adora are great. The only reason I assumed she was not getting votes is because they are so nearly identical it's not even a redesign. They didn't change much of anything. And because of that they're just as good as the original, just not "exciting" because there isnt anything new. Not bad, just there.

As for Frosta, she's not a bad design. It's a great design. It's just the most shockingly different from the rest. Shockingly different can be very off putting, so I am not surprised she's so low ranked. But off putting, shocking, or disappointing are not the same as bad. I like that she's so young, I like the idea behind it. I'm sure I'll warm to it (hehe) but yeah, I agree, it is/was hardest for me to accept because it was so different but it makes alot of sense and is a good design for a frosty character.

I think this show is amazingly beautiful. It's just a joy to look at. There's something savage, dreamlike, and wild that the original filmation shows had that will not oft be repeated but I prefer to judge things on their own merit.

It's like saying everyone is a terrible person becuase there have been such amazing people before them. Judge it on it' sown merits.

But even judging against the other show; they're just different. There's already alot about this show that is done better. But I will not stop loving the old show and appreciating what it gave (and gives me).

But yeah, there are so many desktops/wallpapers I've gotten from this show. It really is pretty.

I agree with Adekis and BaronTerror, I love the diversity in body shapes as well as race, sexual orientation, and overall looks. I love Classic POP dearly, but I also love New POP on its own merits. Not everyone can look the same or be the same size, it's about time popular culture reflected these diverse factors.

As for the characters' ages, even animated characters were younger people once.

It's like the recent DC Comics Icons Series novels or Gotham with Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) being depicted as much younger people. There are elements in Gotham I'm not happy with, and even some episodes I will not re-watch, but for the most part, I've loved the good parts, including characterisation.

I did like Imp too. For this series, his new design fits perfectly, though I still prefer his original design. The outfit is a cute addition too. Much more involved than the basic singlet he had.
I am Imp's number one fan.

    I voted none as well.

Shadow Weaver looks good but i wouldīt recognize her as Shadow Weaver.

Angellas design is the best updated version but why another hair color change. Brunette toy, blonde FILMATION, pink and purple which should be Entrapta but no the Queen and Princess of Brightmoon get that now. And i donīt get it.

Netossa looks great as well but again i would know itīs suppose to be her if she wereīt in a cartoon thatīcalled She-Ra.

I'm surprised Hordak is winning, I wonder if that's because he's the character that's been altered the least from how he appeared originally

Iīm not surprised and until now the only ones who donīt have any vote are She-Ra and Frosta. And thatīs no surprise as well...

I`m sure by mentioning it someone feels sorry for them and they get votes eventually but still...

    None of them.

The original She-Ra designs are absolutely beautiful, and the new show doesn't improve upon them in any way.

I'm watching through the show again, this time with my wife (my daughter and I watched it last year but it's tough to watch more critically with a kid around.

I went with Entrapta. I like Entrapta's design as it feels like it still retains enough of the visual flourish that I could identify her as Entrapta while doing something new as well.

I actually really like Adora's redesign but I'm pretty neutral on She-Ra's. There are parts of her redesign I like and parts I don't. Had Adora been listed on her own I might have went with her.

Yeah, I'm surprised by this... of all the new designs, I think She-Ra's is the weakest.

I wonder if this was done intentionally... to let the other Princesses stand out?

Yeah Entrapta's design is pretty solid. Her voice is atrocious though. So annoying. The voice acting and dialogue is one of my big pet peeves with the show.

I also agree about the Adora design. I'm really looking forward to seeing the toy version.

I like Catra's look. Her voice is decent too. Scorpia is cool (weird personality though). Razz looked fitting.

My least favorite designs (this is a lot easier): Angella, Castaspella, Frosta, Shadow Weaver

I quite like the new designs on Catra, Frosta, Sea Hawk, Hordak, Weaver, Entrapta, Swift Wind and Glimmer have grown on me

Still a no sadly for She-ra the princess of power herself , Angella, Perfuma, Bow, Razz Castaspella and Scorpia is so ugly and unappealing in comparison to the sexy Scorpia of the 80s

I'm a big fan of the original series, but I'm really enjoying and having fun with this new vision. I voted Catra (though it was a tough decision). I love the expressions she pulls when her and Scorpia are out adventuring (it's the anime fan in me I suppose). I really like Entrapta's new style too. Very much the cybergoth look. I could imagine her listening to VNV Nation or Assemblage 23 while she's tinkering away in her lab.

Why isn't there an option for "All of them"?

I love the animation style and art design of this series from top to bottom.
