    My Custom NA Classics Figures

As I discussed in the Classics NA thread, I have made or bought custom figures of all the vintage and major cartoon NA characters except for Butthead. I haven't figured out the right set of parts and head that would work for him yet. Here are pics of my figures

First, the ones I bought that someone else made: Sagitar, Drissi, and Caz:

Sagitar I bought off of ebay, and I'm so glad I did. I believe his bottom half is entirely from Man-E-Faces. The top half is the standard male torso (not sure how it connects to the MEF head plug) with Prince Adam vest and NA He-Man forearms. Head is a modified Kronis head.

Drissi and Caz were made by Hunter Knight Customs. Drissi is a modified She-Ra, and Caz is a modified DC toy.

Next are the Galactic Guardians made by me:

Kayo: standard male torso, shoulders, thighs. Icarius alternate head. Man-E-Faces biceps, forearms, and hands. Geldor boots. Modified Tank Top armor, modified Snout Spout armor, modified Space Ace armor.

Vizar (one of my first customs that could use a refresh): Black Palace Guard head, standard male torso and arms with gloved forearms, Dawgator armor, He-Ro trunks, Snout Spout boots. I sculpted the visor piece, which used to look better but broke at one point when the figure fell.

Nocturna (another early custom): He largely uses the Icarius body, just repainted, and the bottom Trap Jaw boots. Standard He-Man head with hair painted black. Also a piece of Icarius's armor cut to put around the neck.

Spinwit: modified Icarius helmeted head. Modified Icarius armor. Icarius arms with Icarius weapon pieces on each arm for whatever those are called that he has on his arms. Thunder Punch He-Man right fist. Man-E-Faces trunks. Standard male thighs, Trap Jaw boots. I sculpted the extras on his helmet, shoulder pads, his twisted waist and collar.

Artilla: one of my customs I'm most proud of. Modified Tank Top head, Multi-Bot torso, shoulders, hands, trunks, and legs. Twistoid biceps and forearms.

Next are Prince Adam and Master Sebrian:

Adam: mostly made from Preternia Disguise He-Man. Forearms are from He-Ro, and the head is a Prince Adam head with King Grayskull hair attached (back when the hair and heads were separate pieces). With the new Conan figure coming out, I'll probably swap out his lower legs so that he has proper sandals and feet with toes!

Master Sebrian: this is my 2.0 version of him. The body is a Filmation Evil Seed body with the plant legs removed, and human hands. I used the Eternos Palace Randor's cloak. The head is a modified Zodak head from Plastic Curves with the metallic jaw piece removed. I sculpted the hair and eyebrows. Trident is from Mer-Man

Finally, I have the Space Mutants: Lizorr, Hoove, and Staghorn

Lizorr: Slush Head body and arms. Modified Karatti armor. Clawful head with Darius helmet. Slush Head trunks, Trap Jaw legs, Whiplash feet.

Hoove (another one I'm quite proud of): Saurod torso, armor, arms, and legs. Flogg trunks. Flogg head with helmet removed, and sculpted teeth. Standor helmet

Staghorn: standard male torso with Snake Man-At-Arms arms, Icarius armor and trunks, Trap Jaw legs, and modified Fisto head. I sculpted on chains to the armor, and the furry part of the boots.

So there you have it. If we never get official versions of these figures, which would be devastating, I will at least have my customs to fill the gap.

Dude I love these, very creative in you parts use for a lot of these figures, which will have busy gathering parts to mimic some if not most of these customs. If you don’t mind could transfer this post to the thread about parts reuse so there’s get a chance to see what you’ve , that would be awesome. Thanks again for sharing this great job.

In regards to butthead not sure what to use for the head or weapon, these might be something that could be 3D printed if you don’t mind using those heads, but I feel I gotta recipe for you to finish up your collection.
    Lord Dactus buck
Goatman arms OR oolar arms with mosquitor hands and space ace arm guards
    seahawk loin
    darius thighs
    manefaces lower legs
    extender neck extension
    Maybe goat man armor
New head, armor piece and weapon
He could benefit from new shoulders and boots although i think they could pull him off using existing parts

I was looking last night to see what might work for Butthead. I think maybe Rotar's armor could work. The rest of what you suggested sounds about right.

The head is the hardest part. For an existing head, I think Quakke's might be the closest, with the large gritting teeth and bugged out eyes. I definitely wouldn't be opposed to a 3D printed head, but no one seems interested in making them for NA figures. I've used many from Eternal Custom's shop, but he's only made Filmation character heads.

To be honest, Butthead's design is rather hideous to me, which is partly why I think it's been hard for me to find the parts, and the desire, to get him done. I'll get to him eventually, since sadly, it does not seem to be a priority for Super7.

Oh these are all really great. As for Butt Head, it hasn't aged super well, but back in 200X days I used a Mek-A-Neck to decent effect

These are awesome! I’m thinking not much more NA is coming out from Super7 anytime soon since it’s been alluded to that they don’t sell well enough. I’m going to start asking for customs soon because I don’t think I could do these on my own!

Sagitar is amazing and exactly how I picture him being in this line, not the beast size that the polls put him in.

    Artilla also looks incredible!

Thank you all for the comments!

I started making these several years ago, during they peak days of the line. I had also done some POP customs of figures like Flutterina, Peekablue, and Double Trouble, since at the time, it did not seem like a guarantee that even that line would finish its lineup. Luckily, I was proven wrong, and eventually sold off my customs of the ladies. I don't think I even kept pics of them; to be honest, in this case it was for the best, as these were not top notch customs. I do have many toy-color versions of the PoP ladies that I've done that I may share at a later time.

I really had hoped Super7 would get further with the NA lineup, especially since it seems like they have a lower threshold of how many figures they need to make. Even if they could just make a Lizorr vs Kayo two pack for the 30th anniversary, I'd be thrilled. I think they are taking too much stock in the polls that have been done. They might have a high participation rate, but taking a poll is free, and saying "sure, I'd buy that" is one thing, but then actually buying it is another. If you look at the conversations here and elsewhere about whtlat people want, I think you get a better idea of your actual core customer base, and what they want, vs the more casual fandom, a decent portion of which might not be buying this stuff at all, but had fun taking the polls anyway.

Now that Super7 is doing Toxic Avengers and TMNT in the same buck system I’m hoping we’ll have more parts to choose from soon!

These are great! I'm planning on making most of these! I may use some of these ideas.
PoP Figures have to be based on the Vintage toys! This is NOT Filmation's Masters Of The Universe Classics MySpace Custom Blog

Thanks! I just saw your Nocturna, and I think mine may need some upgrading
